'Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff

The official website for the anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima's Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) light novel revealed additional cast, staff, a new key visual (pictured), and a second promotional video on Tuesday. The series is scheduled to premiere on April 3 at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS Nippon Television.

Akira Ishida (Mars Red) is voicing the spherical AI, Luxion.

Kazuya Miura (Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara) and Shinichi Fukumoto (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. assistant director) are helming the anime at animation studio ENGI. Kenta Ihara (Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon) is handling the series composition and Masahiko Suzuki (Overlord II sub-character design) is designing the characters.

Mishima began penning the fantasy romance novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Micro Magazine began publishing the series through its GC Novels imprint in May 2018. The ninth volume shipped on November 30.

A manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato began serialization under Nico Nico Seiga's Dra-Dra-Dragon Age digital manga portal—now Dra-Dra Sharp#—in October 2018. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on January 8. The publisher's ComicWalker platform also serializes the manga.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga adaptation in English last April and December, respectively. The fifth novel volume shipped physically on March 8, with the fifth novel released digitally on January 20. The fourth manga volume will ship on April 19.

man that first teaser they put out looked so damn bad which got me super worried because this is a pretty fun manga (I haven't read the LN, just the manga).
Luckily this one looks much better. Not spectacular, but passable enough.

This is amuch nicer KV but visually, I'm not sure if I'm really feeling this too much yet....Still, I'm interested enough to see how the story plays out though
