'Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi' Reveals Pair of Additional Cast, First Promo, Spring 2022 Airing

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Souichirou Yamamoto's Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi (In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki) manga revealed two additional cast members, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2022.

Miyari Nemoto and Sayumi Suzushiro (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai!) are joining the cast as Sazanka and Asagao, respectively.

Takudai Kakuchi (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season episode director) is helming the anime at CloverWorks, with series composition handled by Konomi Shuugo (Tropical-Rouge! Precure script). Yousuke Okuda (Blend S) is designing the characters and Yuusuke Shirato (Lost Song) is composing the music.

Yamamoto began serializing the comedy manga in Gessan magazine in January 2018. Shogakukan shipped the sixth volume on November 21.

I think I had this on "wait till the PV," and, I can't say I'm impressed. Then again, I wasn't expecting anything significant, from the description.

Still torn, but I think I'll put it on a "no" for now.

I realize this work has a pretty well-known author with a big hit in the past, but it's pretty funny how people only discuss this show in the context of it.

Of course the series is tame, but it the "lewdest" relative to the rest of his anime/serialized manga. It like the only series of his where he seems to release some ecchi aspects like his usual fanarts.

Considering that all his other work is school romcoms?

Just like Takagi-san, it's more fun, slice of life, comedy, wholesomeness. No fanservice, no bullshit.

I swear his 3 manga is premiering in one year, I wonder how this is happening. This one is premieres in Spring 2022 while the other one that I'm mostly looking forward to than this one "Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru" premieres in Summer 2022
