Grimoire of Zero was pretty good back in the day, so let's see how this one'll turn out.

Well, it's the same creator as Grimoire of Zero, and with the eponymous name-dropped in the synopsis, I'm guessing this is some sort of spinoff-sequel type deal. Either way, I think I'll wait to form an opinion on this one after getting around to watching the former.
I loved Grimoire of Zero, so my anticipation for this is now way up

what is this avalanche of new animes based on light novels isekais? I even feel bad that they canceled the cheat slayer that would have been a "the boys", but for isekai

It's like character designs are created by studios.

even in original animes you see those generic designs.

The original anime is not part of our conversation. You literally said that if an adaptation has a generic MC design, then it is by default trash.

@RobertBobert exactly, the superficial aspects like the bad animation and bland designs are easily criticizable.

you know anime will be trash just by looking at the character design

Let me guess, if anime has a shoujo-inspired female protagonist with no catchy design or personality, doesn't that make anime the same trash?

Hmm, from the promo art it looks like they are nerfing the brown girls massive breasts. I hope it's just the promo art and the actual show will look more faithful. The loli design on the other hand looks accurate enough, seems like they won't be doing away with the loli pantsu fanservice. Here's to hoping they won't cut the bath scene.

The synopsis sounds like a decent enough fantasy series and the visuals aren't bad looking so far, so I'll check it out
