'Mahoutsukai Reimeiki' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, First Promo

The official website of the Mahoutsukai Reimeiki (The Dawn of the Witch) television anime revealed on Friday three additional cast, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 8 at 01:28 a.m. on TBS, followed by BS11.

Witch of the Darkness: Yumiri Hanamori (Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho)
Mercenary: Masaaki Yano (Nami yo Kiitekure)
Father: Masaaki Mizunaka (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu)

Staff
Art Supervision: Masami Saitou (Kanojo mo Kanojo art director)
Photography Supervision: T2 Studio (Ousama Ranking photography)
Music: Tatsuhiko Saiki (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta...)
Music Production: Nichion

Satoshi Kuwahara (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω) is helming the anime at Tezuka Production and handling the series composition. Reina Iwasaki (Adachi to Shimamura animation director) is designing the characters.

The anime adapts Kakeru Kobashiri's fantasy adventure light novel of the same name, which launched with illustrations by Takashi Iwasaki in August 2018. Kodansha's Ranobe Bunko imprint shipped the fourth volume on November 2.

Tatsuwo began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine in July 2019. The fourth volume was released on October 7. Kodansha USA began publishing the manga digitally in English on March 23 and released the third volume on July 13.

the story of this anime takes place after grimoire of zero (which has 11 volumes of novels, but only the first one was adapted). imo they should've adapted the entire grimoire of zero instead

Afaik almost every single panel she appears in there are panty shots. Considering she's part of the main gang, that's pretty much every chapter.

Then...censorship sadge. Hopefully the product is still good :(

I thought they wouldn't censor the loli pantsu fanservice based on the promo art, but maybe that was a bit premature. The trailer is clearly censored, so my expectations are low.

The fact that this is clearly a spin-off of Grimoire of Zero alone is enough incentive for me to definitely watch this, so I'm hoping that this will be just as great as that was (And who knows, maybe it could inspire a second season for Grimoire of Zero too - I hope)
