HoneyWorks' LIPxLIP Virtual Idol Duo Receives Anime Movie

Vocaloid music circle HoneyWorks announced an anime movie based on its LIPxLIP virtual idol unit on Friday. The movie, titled Kono Sekai no Tanoshimikata: Secret Story Film, commemorates the music circle's 10th anniversary. Film production company Toei opened an official website, revealing a promotional video and teaser visual (pictured).

Voice actors Kouki Uchiyama (Nijiiro Days) and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Watashi ga Motete Dousunda) are reprising as Yuujirou and Aizou, respectively.

Literally just talked about the possibility of a LIPxLIP anime with a friend, and they announced this. Actually hoping for a series that may adapt the stories of all Honeyworks' idol characters and not just this duo, but this is exciting enough. Looking forward to it!

OMG I love all their songs, especially from their first album
Tsuki no Hime, Romeo, Yume Fanfare, Nonfantasy are all amazing.
I'm so excited to see Yuujiro and Aizou come to life TAT

I'll watch it but I'm going to be honest, I was never that interested in these two. In general I do prefer the old cast of characters and their stories, in fact I'm glad they're doing some song with Midori recently.

Absolute hype!!! I've loved lipxlip ever since I watched 10cm and always wanted an anime on them. Was a bit worried about the no-name studio, but the animation looks fluid. Fingers crossed for new songs!
now can minami get an anime too pretty please
