'Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen' Light Novel Gets TV Anime
This year's Fujimi Fantasia Dai Kanshasai event announced a television anime adaptation of Kei Sazane's Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen (The Last Battlefield Between You and I, or Perhaps the Beginning of the World's Holy War) light novel series on Sunday.
Synopsis
A great war has raged for years between the scientifically advanced Empire and Nebulis, the realm of the witches―until the youngest knight ever to receive the title of the Empire's strongest meets the princess of the rival nation. Though they are sworn enemies, the knight is taken by her beauty and dignity, and the princess is moved by his strength and way of life. Will the fighting between them ever be allowed to end? (Source: Yen Press)
Sazane launched the action fantasy novel series, also known by its short name KimiSen, in May 2017 with illustrations by Ao Nekonabe. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on September 20 (pictured right).
A manga adaptation by okama (Himawari!) has been serialized in Young Animal magazine since last May. Hakusensha published the second compiled volume on May 29.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English under the title Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World this February. The first novel volume went on sale on September 24, with the first manga volume planned for a November 5 release.

i love that you can tell at a glance how trashy an anime is gonna be by its female character designs
So better the character design, worse the series?
Hmm yea makes sense

I don't think the person was inherently comparing it because harem.
It'd probably be in the same vein as Rakudai to some capacity as well, two main characters established at the very beginning to be a couple and throughout the course of the series they stick through.
Prog can correct me otherwise, but I think that's the jist of the comparison. Not that it's a harem.

kishuku gakou no julliet isn't harem. lol
How is it a harem if main couple is established from the beginning, they have mutual feelings for each other, confess to each other and start dating from the very beginning? No other girl has even 0.000000000001 chance.
so how is kishuku gakou no julliet a harem?
Never claimed that Juliet was a harem here but... uh okay.
I just gave the comparison to Rakudai more than Juliet because both aren't harems. But it'd probably be in the same vein as Rakudai to some extent.

In the same way that people say that SAO is a harem even though Kirito is with Asuna since the first arc. lol Doesn't make sense but that's how it is in the internet.

Relax man, when someone decides to criticize something without even doing there hw or bother reading the synopsis, you know it is just someone making a fool of themselves.
I could've swore this was a joke, not a criticism...
The internet is dead

The title could be a little bit longer. Too short for an isekai LN.
it's not even isekai FFS.
wtf is wrong with you?

i'm glad this is not a harem
from the reviews i read it focus on the romance more than action/war
and the personality of the main couple is adorable
i'll give it a try

On another note, a little let-down that this is the only anime adaption of the event. They were really teasing Gamers and HighSchool DxD at some point I felt but well there’s no helping that now. Damn, the arena for next year's Kadokawa Light Novel Event was stunning though, looking forward to next year for that as well!
