some of us support gay relationships, and get mad when someone is rude about it.

Is the take home message "don't do drugs" or "don't read OEL yaoi?"
Don't do drugs when you are the OEL yaoi publisher.

"American cops should catch the yuri publisher instead! This is unfair only yaoi publisher go to jail while the yuri ones still at mass crowd. Lesbianism is the greatest threat to mankind. Many times worse than global warming and terrorism."
What yaoi fangirls react to this issue...
A lot of girls that read yaoi are lesbians. FYI.

Not that many other people are being pinnacles of humanity either. Just because you don't like it doesn't give you a right to bash it. Whatever happened to "live and let live"?
People liking yaoi isn't hurting anyone, same as people liking shoujo or shounen, or jousei or whatever genre you want to talk about. It's just a genre, and people that like it don't deserve bashing any more than shounen fans deserve bashing by shoujo fans.
And something like this news article should be held against the person, not the genre. This person isn't the one writing and drawing the manga, they're just publishing them for a wider audience than would have been available had publishers outside of Japan not bothered with bringing manga over the same as Viz or Tokyopop. What the person did was wrong, and I agree with them getting punished to the full extent the law allows, but that shouldn't reflect on the materials that the company publishes.
I just want everyone to get along, what's wrong with that? What you read isn't my business. If we happen to have similar tastes, fine. If not, that's okay too.
I'd also like to mention that a vast number of yaoi fans are straight girls, the same as many yuri/girl-on-girl stuff is enjoyed by straight guys.
Mod Edit: Troll edited out, and troll posts deleted above. (Not by the user who made this post, mind you.)
Also nice that this was handled so maturely. :)
