Danny Choo's Anime Project ''Chinka''

In a recent article on dannychoo.com, Danny Choo has unveiled his own anime project "Chinka" He established a new studio Mirai Fusion to work on the anime. It's an original story about fire fighter girls. (Chinka in Kanji 鎮火 means to “put out a fire.”)

Looks like another painfully generic moe series - only with firefighters. Right. Danny Choo, I am disappoint.

I was thinking more along the lines of Backdraft but sure. Action firefighter anime instead of moe firefighter anime, which doesn't make any sense.

now i began to remember why i dropped that series.

moe firefighters seems rare for a moment here, i might try the 1st episode if they got a nice potential there

Honestly, I don't even know who this Danny guy is and why so many people seem to be so excited about it, but it looks generic as the most generic hell.

I'll give Danny Choo a chance.

Shoka is my initial favorite, but Megumi has a lot of potential.

Is he delirious? If anything that design screams COME LOOK, MOE! I will be watching it because IT IS moe. OVA or series? If OVA, make it 13 episodes. If TV series make it 13 episodes. BTW, 14/15 year old firefighters? What country will this be? Firefighters in unzipped hotpants...whew. *sweat drops* Hot in there.

Gah, why do we need so much stereotypical moe? Anyways, this is a cool move by Danny, nonetheless. I'm somewhat looking forward to it.

Danny Choo's works will likely be very popular as he knows EXACTLY what the Japanese anime community is like (or something).

Which also explains the character designs. However, this could play out really well too. Time will tell (and the staff involved).

looks very interesting if only because of danny choo.... I'll have to watch it just because of that, as will many others. I hope it won't become too cliche with the character interaction, but it seems like it might be fun.

spoiler: the hoses represent something Freudian..... chin ka?
