The official website of Yuru Camp△ (Laid-Back Camp) announced main staff members for its Heya Camp△ (Room Camp) short anime on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled for a January 2020 premiere. The website also unveiled a new key visual for the entire series (pictured).

Staff
Director: Masato Jinbo (Isekai Shokudou)
Series Composition, Script: Mutsumi Itou (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal)
Character Design, Chief Animation Director: Mutsumi Sasaki (Yuru Camp△)
Supervision: Yoshiaki Kyougoku (Yama no Susume: Second Season episode director)

Yuru Camp△ adapts Afro's comedy slice of life manga of the same title, which began serialization in Manga Time Kirara Forward in May 2015. Houbunsha published the seventh compiled volume last October, and plans to release the eighth volume on Friday.

The first 12-episode anime series premiered in Winter 2018 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll, who also participated in the anime's production committee. Each of the three Blu-ray and DVD volumes bundled a special episode. A second season and an anime film are currently in production.

Yen Press licensed the manga in April 2017 and shipped the fifth volume on February 19. The sixth volume is planned for a May 21 release.

Sounds cool, I'm glad they seem to have added 2 new girls ! 2020 already has some nice shows to watch !
I don't see anyone new. If I'm not mistaken, they are, from left to right: Sakura (Nadeshiko's sister), Toba-sensei, Nadeshiko, Rin, Aoi, Chiaki, and Ena.

Aaaaah, yeah indeed, I totally forgot about those secondary characters, my bad.

S2 (and a movie) were green-lit last October together with the short series, they just don't have an airing date yet. They are probably still in production and that's probably why most of the main staff is not working in this short series.

Ecstatic to see this! It’s a pity that we’ll not be getting the same staff for this little short side-story series but it’s under the same Studio and hence I’m looking forward to this nevertheless! Key visual is a killer too, very hyped to see this!

Apparently the director will be there as a supervisor, I guess the main staff will be working on the 2nd season and I guess the movie. If the projects are kinda sorta being worked on at the same time I guess we can expect both to air the same year? Maybe in a later season.

Oh, that’s great news!
I’m sure the original staff are working on the 2nd Season and the Movie, yeah. I’m confident that it’ll be in the same year but I really hope they don’t try to quicken things up. Maybe Movie in the later season and then the sequel season in the season after or two, preferably two, would be very nice imo.

I’m looking forward to more announcements regarding the 2nd Season and the Movie! Looks like it’ll most probably be a longer wait than Winter ‘20 Season but I have no issues with that whatsoever.

Before people start asking for a full sequel there is one coming and this ain't it. This will be a ova type of series similar to Puchimas, Cinderella Girls, Isekai Quartet, Strike Witch 504 etc.
