Script Writer Michiru Shimada Dies

The daughter of script writer Michiru Shimada has announced via her Twitter account that her mother died on Friday from a sickness she had since last year. She was 58 years old.

Shimada worked on scripts for many anime series, such as Dr. Slump: Arale-chan, One Piece, Detective Conan, Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000%, the Little Busters series, and Little Witch Academia (TV).

Honestly this is sad news since from what I've seen from her some of the stuff she did were stuff that I liked. Especially Little Busters, one of my favorite anime of all time as well as the first season of Shogu Chara, which was a series that I got into when I asked my cousin in the past to get the episodes :c

And she was still young as well, which is really saddening ;_;

Oh no, rest in peace. Her work will forever be appreciated. The Little Busters series and LWA are among my favorite anime of all time.

yeah thats a damn shame, I really liked little witch so I guess its also safe to assume another season might not be a good idea.

Wow, I never thought some of the World Masterpiece Thater series and Little Witch Academia shared the same writer! Little Women II and Little Witch Academia are both some of my favorite animes of all time! She will be missed, but her inspiring work will always be remembered.
