 The daughter of script writer Michiru Shimada has announced via her Twitter account that her mother died on Friday from a sickness she had since last year. She was 58 years old.Shimada worked on scripts for many anime series, such as Dr. Slump: Arale-chan, One Piece, Detective Conan, Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000%, the Little Busters series, and Little Witch Academia (TV). | Wow, I never thought some of the World Masterpiece Thater series and Little Witch Academia shared the same writer! Little Women II and Little Witch Academia are both some of my favorite animes of all time! She will be missed, but her inspiring work will always be remembered. |
