Another movie that includes time travel for the shitty feels attempt, ridden to the brim with plot holes and inconsistencies. Bring it on Japan.

This takes the cake as the most pompous and idiotic comment on this thread. Congratulations.

Also, what's with the "meh" feelings on TGWLTT? It's legit one of his best films. Now Boy and the Beast, that I can understand being underwhelmed by. I enjoyed it, but it felt messier and less strongly put together than his previous works. I really hope Mirai can live up to the quality bar he set with Wolf Children and Summer Wars.

More Mamoru Hosoda is nice.

Though I do hope that its handled better than The Girl Who Lepth through Time since I didn't liked that film that much.

Got me at Mamoru Hosoda. It doesn't seem too interesting yet, but unless the reviews are terrible, I'll definitely be watching this.

Not sure what to think of this tbh. Looks rather 'meh' than 'good' according to the trailer & the synopsis.

Hosoda can do better than this. Not saying it won't be good but it sounds samey and not as fantastical as some of his other films were going.

The names for anime are getting even more dull as time goes on.

Any word on Sadamoto's possible implication as a chaa-designer??

It's called a "family movie" and isn't coming form Ghibli.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, but for those who were, this will definitely be right up their alley! So while I most likely won't watch it, I am happy that it is being produced for the numerous TGWLTT fans

The cover art looks like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time rotated 180 degrees combined with Sakasama No Patema :p
