Manga 'Berserk' Resumes Serialization
The series has been serialized in Young Animal since 1989, and its 39th and latest volume (pictured) was published by Hakusensha on June 23. The manga has received multiple anime adaptations, including a 25-episode TV anime in 1997 by studio OLM, a movie trilogy by Studio 4°C, and the most recent anime sequel by Millepensee and GEMBA, which ran for 12 episodes each in Summer 2016 and Spring 2017.
Dark Horse licensed the manga in English and published the 38th volume on July 18. Crunchyroll licensed the latest anime adaptation for North American distribution, and plans to release its first season in January 2018.

I just want Casca to talk before the next hiatus.
Well, she kinda did in the last chapter.
I don't mean Pocket-Casca. I want the real deal.

Dude, we get it, his pace is slow. This is not some new revelation it should be expected by now. People need to quit whining and either enjoy it or if the release schedule is such a turn off then stop reading. I highly doubt Miura would give 2 shits if he loses a few spoiled readers at this point over his life's work.
This..
View Berserk, HxH, Black Lagoon, Glass Mask and all the other series with highly irregular schedules as some sort of visit from a distant relative. Happens once or twice a years, lasts maybe for a few weeks and is generally pleasant. It's not like there aren't literally hundreds of other good manga in the backlog to read in the meantime...

- Because of the amount of breaks/hiatuses, I've completely given up on trying to predict how and where in the fuck this story will go. Endless possibilities

Why is he tormenting everybody like this with all those hiatuses. Berserk is one of the more beloved series in the entire anime/manga fandom, this is just shame to see it like this.

Finally, I hope he doesn't blue ball this arc half-way. I want to see Casca recover.
You know, I have a friend who's fanatically a Berserk fan, and he has repeatedly expressed to me his dislike in the general lighter shift the series have taken. He's convinced in his speculation that once Casca recovers, she'll be so power-creeped that she'll die violently shortly afterwards giving more reason for Guts to brood.
I for one think (or hope, at least) that she will take several levels of badass to catch up with the rest of the cast and the Golden Age arc battle couple will be back.
