@nDroae
I hope he can pull another DAL or something close to that, because he really needs that.

Uh... oh, this is a sequel to a show I had around late 2019 in my PTW list. Hmmmmm. Nah, not gonna catch up now, I'll just hope for a soundtrack release (assuming it's good). :)

I hope his health is okay. I figure Japan's business deathstyle would work against most people's creative faculties.

Also the choice of work to credit him for is like, say,

INCEPTION
Music: Hans Zimmer (Kung Fu Panda)

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI
Music: John Williams (Home Alone 2: Lost in New York)

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
Director: George Miller (Happy Feet)

I really hope this isn't mainstream'd.

Oh btw, the previous series is one of few where I think the live action was better than the anime

We are two, bro.
Neat live was that one (Shinobi: Under the Blade).
Didn't expect to find someone who watch the live action & think it's better too. Nice :)

It seems that Winter season will be better than usual. Winter season often had the weakest anime in the past

But now we have Violet Evergarden, Overlord 2, Nanatsu no Taizai 2, Fate/Extra Last Encore and Basilisk all airing on winter 2018

EDIT: Also, there is Grancrest Senki, Beatless, Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku and Toji no Miko. Sound like it will best winter season ever for action fans like me

Very nice, I see the character art style and the weird design of them is still present as in the original show, that's what I respect.

Hope the violence and good action will be there as well and won't be toned down. Lets get it on I'm actually pretty hyped for this.

The first one was pretty violent and so, I put it on indefinite on-hold status and now, there is a sequel. Oh my... Looks like I better finish the first one sooner.

If it's gonna end like how previous series did, I'd pass this one. The story was pretty interesting, but didn't really like the ending.

Winter 2018, huh? I need to watch the prequel then. Don't really wanna miss out on this after I found out that my favorite seiyuu has a main role in here. >.<

Hibiki Iga: Inori Minaase

Hallelujah! My pleas were heard, and Inori will play the main love interest in the romantic anime, and this is the continuation of my favorite title. But I have only one question, where can I read the synopsis?

this is not a romantic anime :/

Genres: Action, Historical, Drama, Martial Arts, Seinen

Not really, Basilisk has always been a tragic action about star-crossed lovers. True, I do not fully understand how the sequel is related to the original storyline.
