TV Anime 'Koi to Uso' Cast Members Announced
The official website for Koi to Uso has announced cast members for the upcoming series. The anime is slated to begin its broadcast on July 3.Cast
Misaki Takasaki: Kana Hanazawa (3-gatsu no Lion)
Lilina Sanada: Yui Makino (Tsubasa Chronicle)
Yukari Nejima: Ryota Osaka (Gokukoku no Brynhildr)
The first two episodes will be pre-screened at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku theatre in Tokyo on June 24. Voice actor Kana Hanazawa and Ryota Osaka will make an appearance at the event along with director Seiki Takuno.

The manga was alright but I kinda put it on hold after 20 or so chapters. The original idea was interesting but I wasn't a fan of the characters.

You see those character designs and think of the 80s-90s? Wew. Those round, digital-looking eyes can only be found in some low-tier 2010s production (because Clannad's ones are rather trapezoids). And if it's only a matter of size they're always been rather big so...

It bothers me because I hate the elitist/hipster mentality where they think everything is shit, even if they've never seen it. Series get a bad rep that they probably don't deserve if enough people think like this. Just wait for it to come out, watch the first episode, and then decide. (even though I personally don't think one episode is enough) It's 20 minutes of your life, is that really too much?

Can you guys just stop complaining and give it a try ? Just enjoy wtf are those elitists and shit. If you don't like the anime well that's your problem, we all have different tastes. But saying that it's going to be trash or anything else is stupid because it's just your opinion, only yours. Some will like it, some will not, that's it.

It's generally accepted and proven that anime adaptations are full length commercials for their adapted product. Just like manga adaptations are commercial for the anime original. The increasing amount of anime that is not original and only serves to promote a product is what people are talking about when they say that anime is "dying". Syrup- said:

By that logic aren't like... I don't know, most animes that are part of source materials just an mere advertisement? Regardless of the outcome or how the adaptation does itself (good or bad)? Just asking. Not really jumping into a rage quit bullshit here btw, Nah.
I don't generally mind adaptations of manga (LNs are a different case), since they make up most of your airing anime these days, but this one looks horribly generic and I was just calling those qualities out.

I tried to get into the manga but remember it was pretty bad. Mostly how contrived it feels, and the lack of any attempt at suspending disbelief from the worldbuilding (which is absent)
