What matters is, hopefully at the end of the movie they drop a bombshell announcing season 2. Or at least 'MKNR will return' just like SAO: Ordinal Scale :)

I know it's wishful thinking but Fingers crossed!

You're right. Ah, at the same time ReZero does not even have a movie: D
Well the anime just ended, what did you expect?

@-Mahesvara I say almost the same to people in our social networks. But apparently, they too much want to see the adaptation of further events.

Nah it seems pretty clear that this isn't a flashback lol, nothing in the trailer indicates that and none of the scenes shown were in the parasyte arc.

Well, many people for some reason are sure that he could fight with Lina only during the events of this arc. I do not know why.
Its an original movie though. Plus its not for certain if they'll actually fight again. I mean at this point neither Tatsuya or Lina would want to fight each other again, so something else has to be going on here.

You think Tatsuya wouldn't be able to tell who she is even without seeing her face? Same with Lina, especially since she has seen his magic before in combat.

Well, if so, I hope that she will participate in the story. Now, some people think that this is just a flashback from arc with parasites.

Nothing indicates they forgotten her though and they're not at Okinawa, its a new setting.

You do not think anything bad, I'm glad that they gradually introduce characters from the next arcs. But it's a little strange for me to see Lina as a ridiculous foreigner even before the arc with parasites. Or will she be wearing a helmet and he will not know her identity?

Now even more I want to wait for the film.

this is a movie, so ofc it must be of a hight quality since they had all the the time in the world to animate it...what I'm worried about is when they decide to make another tv series which mean the'll have to release a new episode each week..Madhouse are known for their good scheduling and thus they make high quality shows even when the hire mediocre staffs...and the same cannot be said about 8bit

If they make another TV series I don't think it would be too worrying... well, I'm saying because the first season was badly adapted in the first place (hence why I stated before that I was not going to watch it but then this PV changed my mind a bit).

But if they do I think the best thing to do:

They should not air any sort of other projects in their pedestal until they get done with this one (since they're pretty much small + they have problems in that regard).

Try to at least handle the source better (again as I said, the first season was done poorly imo so at least I should hope they don't mess if they do make the second one, just saying).

Then again... when it comes to that there's also the fact about the production company. I may be wrong, but this is Aniplex. They're pretty much the type to be rather greedy as hell if anything, especially since last year and more apparent in Summer, with 3 shows in their production lineup, all of the 3 shows falling down for different reasons.
I was talking more about the quality of production values than the quality of the show itself..but I agree with you tho, they didn't do a good jobe with adapting the charactiristics from the LN..and since they didnt change the script wirter I think S2 ( if there'll be any) will have the same issues..

about Aniplex..I'm sure the reason they changed the studio is because Madhouse insisted to be in the production comitee this time unlike in S1..so Aniplex probably refused since they want to get all the revenue for themselves..and Madhouse never made a project without being in the production comitee since Masahiro Takahashi became its prisident back in 2015...

The movie is being made by most of the same staff who worked on the anime, so no reason to worry tbh.
