Otome Game 'Meiji Tokyo Renka' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

During the Meiji Tokyo Renka ~Haikara Roman Gekijou 4~ fan event which was held on Sunday, it was announced that the otome game Meiji Tokyo Renka will receive a TV anime adaptation. More information will be announced via their official Twitter at a later date.

Meiji Tokyo Renka is a historical shoujo mobile novel game developed by HuneX for Android in 2011. An adventure game was released on PSP in 2013, which received a sequel in 2015. The game has previously received various adaptations, including musicals, drama CDs, novels, manga, and two anime movies produced by Studio Deen, premiering on July 18, 2015 and May 6, 2016, respectively. The DVD for the first movie was released on April 27 of this year.

Didn't expect this to get tv adaptation... the movies and games must have sold well enough.
Still need to play the vita port heard its far from perfect but I'll get to it eventually.

Huh. I certainly wasn't expecting that. I thought the movie BD/DVD sales were awful, especially for a movie. I don't remember it doing good in the box office either.

But I guess it boosted the game sales and made enough profit for Broccoli.

Either way, I'm happy.
