It's 2016 and they still have the same art quality like the old ones-- I'm disappointed.

only adapting kyouto arc? count me in!

How long is that arc in the manga?

Can it fit into 12 episodes or do you think they'll do 24-25 episodes again like 1st season?
it's longest arc to date... and it's longer than what adapted in first season before went original.. it's too short for 25 episode (since even they are longest, they are not more than 4 volume, just 3 volume and a half IIRC), but too cramped for 12 episode...my safest prediction is they are doing filler in between, or adapting that awful beach arc...
or maybe they will rushed, but it will lost plenty detail...
just checked, it was 4 and half volume...)

As long as they adapt this faithfully like D Gray Man Hollow, I'll be satisfied. The way the first season's second half went anime original route really didn't do justice for the anime imo.

Anyways, looking forward to this.

I'm still surprised that they're continuing the anime, after the shitty anime-original ending they pulled in the first season. I guess they're just pretending that the ending never happened.

But anyways, I'm actually excited for this, I really enjoyed this arc in the manga. And more of Rin being animated is always welcome. And Kuro. Ao no Exorcist's OST is also one of my favorite works by Sawano, so I'm hoping to hear him do something similar to the first season, although lately I haven't been as excited for his music anymore. He's also not the only composer either.
