series is created by Sui Ishida
and began serialization in Young Jump in 2011. The original series ended in 2014, and it was continued as Tokyo Ghoul:re
later that year. It has also spun off a number of side stories published as light novels and other manga series. The announcement also revealed that the series has collectively sold 18 million compiled volumes.
