The AnimeJapan 2016 stage event for the TV anime Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince has announced that a movie of the series will open in theaters in Japan in the fall quarter of 2016. The new movie will be an original story not told in the TV anime.

Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince, adapted from the manga written by Rando Ayamine and drawn by Hikaru Niijima, originally aired for 24 episodes over two quarters in 2013. Two episodes of the series will be rebroadcast weekly in Summer 2016 in a programming block named Majestic Hour. A new 25th episode will also air at the conclusion of the rebroadcast before the movie's premiere.

That was quite long for them to release a movie.... Hopefully, a season 2 after the movie.
The original was quite fun to watch.

You know I really thought this show was shit when it was first airing but it really grew on me as it aired and I ended up liking it in the end.

This is exactly what happened to me, at first I thought this anime was really boring and overall bad but I ended up kinda liking it, so I'm glad they're making a new movie and even an epilogue.

I don't really remember all of the anime, only some of the most important things, maybe I should watch it again? or at least the last episode.

If the movie succcess, it can lead to season 2

Hope this time DogaKobo can give ange more proper unit[rather than that half-custom mass production Black 6]

Can't wait to see Red One upgrade

Epilogue...? It's been awhile. I barely remember anything about this series except Tamaki was annoying and Asagi had nerve problems. Oh wait, I do remember their names. Well that and the action was cool. Interesting news nevertheless.

Meh, the anime was crap.

Good news. The last episode of the anime was a little lacking so I'm glad for an epilogue episode. The movie is just icing on the cake not that I can watch it given my movie backlog.

Ah new movie. I hope they use the OP theme song during one of the battle scenes because I really miss that.

Definitely looking forward to this. Hopefully it'll hit high enough to warrant a continuation.

Whoa, didn't expect this news. I loved it but it didn't wrap things up all too nicely.

Looking forward to it.
