Broadcast of 'Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends' Postponed [Update 3/9]

The official website of the Spring 2016 anime Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends has announced that broadcast of the series has been postponed due to "various circumstances."

The cast and staff page on the official website no longer lists the production team, although the voice cast members remain. An archive of the page shows that it previously listed director Takafumi Hoshikawa, character designer Keiji Ishihara, art director Kenichi Kurata, composer Takashi Watanabe, and Studio Hibari.

Manaria Friends, an adaptation of a popular event in the Shingeki no Bahamut mobile game, was scheduled to begin airing on Tokyo MX on April 1 as part of the Ultra Super Anime Time programming block. A new broadcast schedule has not been announced, and the early screening of the first episode scheduled for March 20 has also been canceled.

Following the postponement of Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends, Animate.tv reports that auditions for a seiyuu role in the 11th episode of the series has been extended to May 31. The original deadline for the audition was originally April 3.

Auditions are being held in cooperation with the DAM chain of karaoke outlets. Participants can record their voices in DAM karaoke booths through a special application page in the karaoke machines. A script from the episode is also provided.

It was announced that rebroadcast of Puchimas! will fill out the timeslot that Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends would originally broadcast.

What's your problem mate? You are assuming many things and you are already going off-topic. Please just stop. And I never saw 2 shows that had same source (not story) aired at the same season.Maybe you are so butt-hurt that this shit was postponed.

Because if anything, Genesis is the spin-off one.
And what's the point of "was the reason behind this" if you never think about it? why would Cygames have to delay this show to make them have a reason announce more Genesis s2 detail, when they already announce they will release more detail at Anime Japan 2016 event?

I don't actually care about any season two and only cared about this , so...;;
Well, to be clear; I'm not even a fan of Rage of Bahamut, but this little short kinda fit into the type of things I like. Anyway, I hope everything gets sorted out.

I would care, but this was going to be pointless anyway so, as others have said, nothing of value has been lost. At least we didn't lose the actual 2nd season.
