Shounen Jump has opened a teaser website for a TV anime adaptation of the manga ēlDLIVE. The series will be adapted by Studio Pierrot and air in 2017.

ēlDLIVE is drawn by Akira Amano and was originally published in full color in August 2013 as part of Jump LIVE. The series later moved to the Shounen Jump+ digital platform in September 2014.

Four compiled volumes of the manga have been published by Shueisha, with a fifth volume scheduled for March 4, 2016. According to Amano, the first volume sold more copies than expected when it was released in 2013 and had to go into reprint.

Synopsis
Chuuta Kokonose is an orphan who lives with his aunt. For as long as he can remember, he's had a voice in his head, but other than that he's a normal boy—right until the day when a strange-looking thing follows him home and teleports him to a place filled with more fantastic creatures. It's a space police station, and Rein Brickke, the Chief of Solar System Department, tells him that he's been chosen by the computer as a possible candidate to join the police force. Misuzu Sonokata, a girl from Chuuta's school with an angelic face and ill temper who turns out to be one of Rein Brickke's subordinates, doesn't think him suitable for such a job. Chuuta, who was shocked at first, decides to take the aptitude test after being urged by the voice in his head and to prove Misuzu wrong. (Source: MAL)

Amano Akira.

How about yes.

It doens't matter who the author is. Pierrot will butcher it a turn it into a gargabe.
Look at Tokyo Ghoul.

It hasn't butcher every single one of it, thankfully. There's still hope.
At least it'll be better than Amano's previous anime (In terms of animation)

If you think Tokyo Ghoul anime is garbage, then look at KHR. Studio pierrot will (maybe) do better than that.

Looks like a crappier reborn. No thanks. After how shitty the ending for KHR was I don't think I'll ever get invested in another one of her works.

The reason KHR ending was shitty was because Jump axed it (AKA forced Amano to stop the manga right at the moment it lose popularity) Hence, the ending was rushed. Amano probably has more ideas for it.

This manga will probably not get axed since it's basically the face of Jump+ (literally. They replace that deer guy from one piece in the jump+ home page with Drew, a character from eldlive) and it get all page full-color for the whole series, so... yeah XD

Hope this change your mind~!

Not a fan of space adventure themed shows, so I will pass on this one.

Lol it's more than that XD
It's more drama than adventure (actually it's a mix of both)

ok I guess.
The author should fund a new KHR anime herself.
