TV Anime 'Anne Happy♪' Adds Lead Cast

The official site for Silver Link's upcoming anime adaptation of Anne Happy♪ has announced the lead cast for the series, which is slated for Spring 2016.

An Hanakoizumi: Yumiri Hanamori (Rolling☆Girls)
Ruri Hibarigaoka: Haruka Shiraishi (Sengoku Collection)
Botan Kumegawa: Kiyono Yasuno (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata)
Hibiki Hagyuu: Hibiku Yamamura (Go! Princess Precure)
Ren Ekoda: Mayu Yoshioka (Wake Up, Girls!)

Drawn by Cotoji, the comedy manga was serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine on December 24, 2012. There are currently four volumes published.

Yen Press licensed the manga for North American release in October, under the title Unhappy Go Lucky!. The first volume is expected to be released on May 24, 2016.

I was originally negative to this show, but since Shomin Sample turned out to be the best show of the season I think Silver Link has the potential for alchemic touch. Shame Shomin Sample got the lowest budget of their three anime this season, when the two other ones were literal syphilis.

Also like that the seiyuus are fresh.

It should be just fine minus the fact there's one VA I have zero familiarity with.

I knew Yumiri Hanamori, who voiced Chiaya from Rolling Girls, and met her in person at my local anime convention. Kiyono Yasuno voiced Megumi from Saekano. Could be interesting.

I didn't liked the cast that much, well besides Kiyono Yasuno, the rest had a few works, specially at popular series.

This can't turn out to be bad, right!?

Nobody interesting, but at least they're giving newer seiyuu some work. Hopefully more of the seiyuu from WUG! get other roles in the future, too.
