'Yowamushi Pedal' Gets Third Season

It was announced at a stage greeting and via Twitter that a third season of Yowamushi Pedal has been green-lit.

Yowamushi Pedal is a manga series written and illustrated by Wataru Watanabe. It had previously received TV anime adaptations in Fall 2013 and Fall 2014. Those adaptations were edited into two summary movies, and a third movie with original content opened in theaters in Japan on August 28.

AWW YEAH :D I really loved the last two seasons despite the fact that i felt slightly bad sitting there and watching calmly while they were slapping their knees and pedaling to their limit X"D

The first third of the first season was enjoyable, but after that I felt that the pacing just slowed to a crawl and the series dropped all pretenses of being somewhat-serious (cycling-accuracy wise) with its subject matter. I soldiered through Grande Road just focusing on the characters, but I'm not sure I care to slog through another season of an eons long race.

Basically mixed feelings about this one.

Hmmm I suppose i'ill watch it but also I don't really care about this series anymore.

I like over-exaggerated antics as much as the next person (or even more) but I don't like the way this series handles that aspect. I actually find it kind of embarrassing.

Was just thinking about how there unfortunate it was that yowapedal didn't any a season 3 only to wake up and see this today. Looking forward to it!
