Fourth 'Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya' TV Anime Adaptation Announced

During the final episode of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei Herz!, it was announced that the series will receive a fourth season, titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!! is the sequel to Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei!. Both series are based on their original manga, written and illustrated by Hiroshi Hiroyama. The TV anime adaptation of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei Herz! premiered on July 25 and concluded this week with 10 episodes.

I'm not worried. The issue with Herz was that they had only a few chapters of 2wei left and needed to get 10 episodes out of it.

Drei is packed with material. There shouldn't be any negative filler in there. Expanding fights a bit? Maybe, since some of them are pretty good and worth extending a bit. But I don't see them having time for a lot of silly and unnecessary episodes.

What's really strange though is that in the Manga, some of the fillers showed up in Herz. So, I'm pretty sure if there's any fillers, there's going to be 1 or 2. The rest is packed with tons of awesome stuff. I finished book 2-6 in like span of 6 hours. It was just too good.

Source? All I heard was that the seiyuu for Sapphire died. That's not enough to cancel a production.

I doubt it. Plus can't really say season 3 has flopped until we see how the second volume does. If I was out there I'd probably get the second volume first and consider the other volume later. The first volume should mostly just have the fairly repetitive slice of life eps that went on for a bit too long. The second volume should have more of the awesome action that would get people buying.

While anything can happen (hello Buddy Complex), I doubt it. They know the third arc is amazing and should sell just fine should they do a great job on it. And like any adaptation the impact on the manga is pretty important as well.

If it was sub 1k sales I might be worried, but mid 2k for the slice of life episodes should be fine.

I am okay with good AO content like how silverlink expands fights or sets up events that even manga has not gotten to yet or most of the AO content in Herz.
I am not okay with bad AO content like second half of last ep of Herz.

Once again, we're working with projections. I don't give a fuck if fate sales turned out better than expected before.
A studio will only announce they already got green-light on producing a continuation to a recently aired series if, and only if, they project a good profit out of it OR believe it's worth for promoting their stuff/franchise.
They obviously don't use Az Stalker for it, but work in similar terms.
What I'm pointing out in my post is that Kaleid strength is enough to promote another series even when the profit prospects for this one isn't so large.
