Why bother. This is a waste. I think fans would rather have something new instead of cut and pasted reruns.

I am massively disappointed with this thread. Thought it was recent news.

I would prefer if they released some new content, not that I have a problem with the way the series ended, but it left that feeling that they were probably going to come back with more.

Agreed. Sequel would be better than recap movies. :|

taking the opposite stance this one time. Imo, CANAAN would've worked better as movies then a TV series. Eps 6-7 would've made a great climax.

I might reccomend people who haven't watched the TV series to watch the movies to enjoy it more... we'll see

Pretty much this.

I don't think I'll ever understand the 3 movies for 13 episodes mentality.
This went from milking the cash cow to chopping its head off and bathing in its blood.

The more, the better.

So does this mean I should stop watching the series and just wait for the movies? Ugh, I am confused now.

People are argueing about visual novel studios now?

Seriously, that's like the lowest of the low...
Prepare to be surprised.

*sigh*
Seriously?

Well, it's nice to know I won't have to bother with these.

Who honestly thought it was necessary to make a 3-movie recap of a 13-episode series? What that is basically amounts to removing the OP and ED and about four scenes from each episode then mashing them together. A recap movie is understandable (but still not necessarily good) if the studio needs some more money, but this is excessive.
