Endou is a Woman in Kaiji Live Action Movie

A live action movie of "Kaiji" will be premiered on October 10th. The biggest alternation in the setting is that Endou Yuuji was switched with a lady Endou Rinko played by Amami Yuki (official website). Fujiwara Tatsuya (official website) plays the main character Itou Kaiji. Fujiwara played Yagami Light in the live action movie of Death Note.

Just saw it after buying it on DVD just for the heck of it.
Thought I was going to hate it at first, but they actually did an OK job.

I haven't read the manga myself, but I guess the anime follows the manga better than the movie did. Since they cut the underground part in after the boat, which spoiled a bit of the second series.

I liked how Fujiwara actually acted like Kaiji, or at least like an anime character for the most part. I did not like him at all in the Death Note movies.

It was a fun movie and I think they treated the source material great. The removed/replaced scenes that were over the top which I was OK with. Like the scene with

Many scenes were extremely close to the source material which made me squeal in excitement. lol

I'd give it a 7/10

I just watched this movie. I thought it would kind of sucky if Endou and Kaiji would end up together. Too cliche.

Luckily there wasn't such romantic ending, but rather one I am very content with. Kaiji worked hard for his money, but in the end the woman is just smarter. Yup, I like these kind of movies.

i downloaded and watched it yesterday night movie was so awesome i kept dreaming abt it all night lol
well bak to reality the movies was superb the cast also did a really appreciable work + endou being played by Amami Yuki was really a nice touch added to the movie the music for the movie made my day as well yui singing FTW xD .
all in all the movies was great fun to watch ^^

well it was ok, if i hadn't seen the anime maybe i could have enjoyed this more. I'll definitely recommend this to my friends.

Kaiji was a simple Anime they could've made into a great movie, and yet they managed to make it as lame as possible; how the fuck. . .

I didn't even finish it, 30 minutes was all I could stomach.

I really think that Fujiwara is a bad actor and expect that he doesn't screw up the Kaiji movie like he did with Death Note
