Sequel Planned for 'Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata'

It was announced at a live event and on its official website that a sequel for romantic comedy series Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata is in production. No further details, including type, are known yet.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata is based on the light novel written by Fumiaki Maruto, with artwork by Kurehito Misaki, and began publishing in 2012. The first season aired from January to March earlier this year as part of the noitaminA lineup.

I really really enjoyed the first season a lot, so this is fantastic news for me. I’m also glad to see that lots of you guys in here enjoyed it as well. You can’t never have enough Megumi and Utaha in your life, period.

The bad thing.... waiting for an actual release date, which I expect it will sometime in 2016, but hey! I’m fine with that. The important thing is that’s coming, and that’s enough for me to be happy.

Except you know it kind of doesn't. Too break down roughly what you just said it would be something like "I can't understand why other people are criticizing this, but rather than think about it I'm just going to claim their being childlike and laugh at them". That's some pretty petty stuff but hey MAL. I truly truly hate this website and don't know why I continue to expect rational commentary let alone insightful commentary.

Hopefully it's better than S1... And less fanservice, please. The series could be intelligent if it wanted to. It just rarely chose to do so.
