Little did Hayashi Naotaka know that it was about his parting with the studio.

Will her memories be fake?
Cause that's what i think of when i hear this title.

The characters look cute, I'm a little interested. Just waiting to see if there will be a bland MC-kun to ruin it all.

The girl looks cute, so I'll probably watch it. Hopefully there's an awesome plot, or awesome "plot", or both.

I wonder what kind of anime this is going to be? It seems like it will be some sort of Sci-fi thing based off the title, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Expect drama, going by the synopsis.

Looking forward to whoever's in charge of the script.

Hah, not like it matters

Apparently it's Naotaka Hayashi, who was the original writer for the "Steins;Gate" visual novel, or at least his name is attached to this project.

Ahh, I didn't know that. I was just looking at his work in anime at first. Sounds like this could be promising.

Reminds me of plastic fans. '_'

But yeah, difficult to tell shit with virtually no info. For now my money's on a cheap but pretty drama.

Booooring. Why not put your money on something interesting? If you're going to speculate at this point, why not go with something daring? Like reverse harem with gender bender and cannibalism in a futuristic sci fi steampunk setting? Or maybe a psychological thriller with idols in the Meiji Era?

Anyways, seems like a silly announcement. Doesn't seem to tell me much more than THERE'S GONNA BE AN ORIGINAL ANIME PROJECT IN THE FUTURE SOMETIME. Gee thanks.

Well, whatever is is, as always, I hope it has a balanced cast. Please, I need my next Nagi no Asukara.

Kind of early to say whether or not it will be anything like NagiAsu though. Not really sure what this is at this point to be honest, and it's probably a ways away...

Hopefully you won't have to wait that long for the "next Nagi no Asukara". Besides, that's what I'm hoping Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is =). It seems to fill a bunch of the criteria: Drama, Romance, good music, nice art, multiple female and male characters and 2 cours so it isn't rushed. Also (though not necessarily important) the two male seiyuu for the main characters in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso did Hikari and Kaname in NagiAsu...

Plastic Memories is like, a bad title.

I like it.

I hope this a way for Naotaka Hayashi to test himself as a director so that he can then continue the Despera anime project. I want to believe.
Edit: Wait, he only did the key animation for one Haibane Renmei episode...
