SnK was okay, but it's a little overrated. ._. I'm getting tired of seeing it around EVERYWHERE I look. And to make matters worse, I'm seeing non-stop commercials on [adult swim] about it now, too.

Not hating, just saying.

I understand what you're saying. I felt the same way with a certain series as well.

No, anime quality didn't affact sale. only thing that affact sale is source material itself. look at Magi if you don't believe.
Or Tokyo Ghoul.

I always find it hilarious, how ignorant you are regarding the benefit of the ''horrible'' Toei anime. The anime is the reason Toriko got popular, it was heavily advertised thanks to it, and it showed, when Toriko got 4 million after the anime debut, in that year.

The problem doesn't seem to be with the anime, it's with the manga, despite the heavy advertisement from Jump of Toriko as the next long running manga, it's still haven't been able to live that, and is not consistent in sales, and series like AssClass sell better without an anime.

did you even see the anime? as a big toriko fan, i can say its horse shit, they censor everything, add filler characters in the story, animation is so bad, and they even gave it a filler ending. if they wanted to promote it, they should have given a good adoptation, there is nothing wrong with the manga

Man everything is wrong with Toei.
One Piece sells millions but his anime is with sh1t quality and dead pacing.
Torika manga is beast, but that adaptation is worse.
Sailor Moon 2014 ? be-weekly with derp faces.

That's entirely irrelevant. And it's really typical of you to miss my point, to just rant pointlessly about the anime adaption.

Having a better anime in terms of production at all. The advertisement for the manga was present. But it's still currently isn't able to pull big numbers, the last two volumes only getting 300k+ after a month from the release. Facts are, that the anime did it purpose and was a success, in terms of ratings, and a boost for the manga. Believing the manga would be more successful, if it had a better
anime in terms of production is completely baseless.

they aimed it at childeren with the age of 6 in japan, the older fanbase hated the anime. if the anime was like the 2009 ova, the sales would skyrocket

You are an extremely delusional and ignorant fan.

^ This is serious business, GTFO >

I can't have people disrespecting Toriko and the anime wasn't great but it was good, until the last 7 or so episodes.

-_- any respect I had for you is now completely gone, I honestly thought you were trolling but it seems you're dead serious about this. Sigh... That sarcasm was so damn obvious even my pet dog could realize that. You honestly thought I would change my opinion just like that?

Read carefully, 4 K after 4 months (16 weeks), vol 19 is that much down after 2 months now add 2 more and you will get to about 4 K.

I'm talking about Shogakukan btw, the other ones match up.

keragamming said:

Idiot can't even tell when someone is using sarcasm. 2.5 million my foot! You will be lucky to see it sell over 1 million this year.

Anyways I don't know how you learn in school or in anything, because people are educating you on how the manga sales works but you don't want any of that, if that's how you act in real like then you will not learn anything because you don't want to admit that you're wrong.

Please when the final manga sales comes out at the end of the year please don't comment about spin off helping series because you're just going to embarrass yourself. Or maybe you're just a attention whore.

Sarcasm and Internet :O (refer to image above)

You should ask your school for a refund, cause you only got more stupid :(
