The official Twitter account of Ninja Slayer announced an anime adaptation of the cyberpunk title. Further details will be released on April 11th.

Ninja Slayer is a series of novels which follow Kenji Fujikido who vows to hunt down and kill ninjas after his family is slain during a ninja battle. The stories are set in the futuristic city of Neo Saitama.

The story was apparently written by Americans Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez, and subsequently translated by a Japanese team. However, many readers believe that this backstory is a ruse designed by the true creators. Upon gaining popularity online, the series was published by Enterbrain and subsequently adapted into three manga series by Enterbrain and Kodansha.

Interesting.
Trigger can do this, and I think their animation style can get along with cyberpunk.
I'll watch this.

Any "cyberpunk" released post 2010 = Fake watered down cyberpunk.
For the record, Ninja Slayer's original release is 1996.

Currently reading volume 2 of the novel.
The cyberpunk world atmosphere is done really well.
I'll definitely watch this when it comes out.

Sweet, Trigger will know what to do with this one. Hopefully that light novel crap will help them make some money to make this one at least normal budget lol.

Now it explains why Trigger is doing that LN harem anime... they need money from somewhere and this sure as hell won't make any.
