'Buddy Complex' to Get Sequel [Update 6/1]

In the beginning of March, it was rumored that Buddy Complex would be a split cour anime. At the end of episode 13, it was confirmed that it will continue. Detailed information will follow at a later time.

Update June 1
According to the official site and Twitter, the sequel will be a two-part special to air on TV, not a second season. It will air this Fall.

I'm pretty sure you are right.

Valvrave sold more than BC and got 12 additional episodes intead of 2 special ones.

There is the same kind of situation where a series gets movie instead of a 2nd season of 12 or more. 90 min being the common duration of movie, it costs far less than 12-24 x 20 min.

And Valvrave still got screwed... it's sooo obvious Valvrave's team was expecting a 3rd season, but man did they get the rug pulled out from under them...

Okay, common. That show getting a sequel is already a small surprise, even with that cliffhanger ending. But if it does get a sequel, at least make it longer.

Two episodes only? Seems like this is an 18-wheeler headed straight off the cliff, or a train about to be derailed. Call it what you will, hopefully it isn't rushed, but how much can you do it 2 episodes, right? :(

I'm kind of upset with this news, 2 episodes? serious?? like wow, this is one of the anime i have been waiting for to come out. How are they going to finish this in 2 episode its going to look so rushed. I guess the blu-ray sales had a impact budget.
