Game 'DRAMAtical Murder' Gets TV Anime Adaptation to Air Summer 2014

Game maker Nitro+CHiRAL has announced that its 2012 BL visual novel series DRAMAtical Murder (DMMd) will be adapted into a TV anime series and will air Summer 2014.

Synopsis
The story takes place many years in the future where the game "Rhyme," a virtual fighting game, is incredibly popular and people possess "AllMates," convenient AI computers. Aoba leads an ordinary life, working at a junk shop and living with his grandmother on the island of Midorijima. Unlike his friends, he doesn't participate in Rhyme, nor does he belong in a gang. However, when rumors of people disappearing spread, Aoba finds himself needing to unravel the mysteries behind the island in order to protect his everyday life. (Source: MU)

I don't really like Mink, (well in the first game I couldn't stand him, I liked him a lot more in Re:connect) but removing him would be really detrimental to the plot.

Basically, removing Mink would be a bad idea, and a lot of people do actually like him, anyway. He's not my favourite character, but I do like him.

I highly doubt they'll include anything like that considering its a TV anime. In fact, I don't think there'll be any relationships in it at all to be honest.

Not a fan of yaoi or shounen ai but the synopsis looks interesting and the game is pretty popular too.

Unfortunately little to no Nitro+ staff are actually getting into the anime project it seems (aside from seiyuu). The bad ends are quite fucked up though, if you're interested.
