Just for those who are curious about Free! sales, indeed the final numbers from Oricon fall within the range I said earlier (i.e. 23k-27k):
BD15,517 + DVD10,209 = 25,726
It is 70% higher than the Stalker estimate of 15.1k !!!!

^ I always have a feeling that the underestimation of Stalker is going to be bigger for Free compared to say Chu2byo because this is generally the case for female-oriented show but if the figures above are the same in Oricon we are seeing some huge underestimation by Stalker...

Official title seems like it really is "Freezing Vibration" from those listings. 6 volumes all the same price with 12 episodes again. "Sexy OVA" episodes again like first season, 1 per disc again. And a drama CD with disc 1, 3, 5, soundtrack with discs 2 and 4. Special oppai posters... sounds good already!

Too many to mention so I will just recommend my favorites that I believe also meet your criteria: Gatchaman Crowds, Baccano, Shingeki no Kyojin, Hunter x Hunter (2011), and Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince. All except Baccano are currently airing so its possible to catch up on them before they end.

Coppelion looks interesting to me, got that true apocalypse vibe! It's a seinen series too, so I don't have to worry much.... unless there're too much random fan services.

Yes, the game site and also its news release show a couple of game original characters. But I doubt it is a major factor. The anime has >50 dolls in total and it is easy to imagine that some people would want some of them in their collection. I would say that in this sense the anime has been a very effective marketing tool for the game.
