2. If there are Limited Edition and Normal Edition of the DVD in the ranking, the volume with larger sales was selected.
3, If the first volume was released in 2007, the anime was excluded even if the following newer volumes were released in 2008.

Code Geass R2 hit 4th spot, not bad..

Macross Frontier got 7th.

Why is Kaiba and Kaiji in the failure section, whereas Code Geass and other shits are in the top. Why do japfags go for the look? T_T Guys, something is wrong here!

Dec 29, 2008 1:26 PM by HaiAlwaysHungry

idk, a lot of the shit that failed i ended up dropping anyway. when you have such a saturated market as japan, its not hard to see why a lot of things fail.... and hard. unlike me state side, and the rest of the world for the most part. we "western societies" eat up just about anything anime since it is a somewhat scarce commodity

Yes, but it failed. No data available.

Wow....just wow. Seriously? It failed? I'm in shock right now. One of the most exciting, fantastic anime ever made, easily the most original, creative work since Cowboy Bebop...and it didn't even sell 700 DVD copies?

Whereas the fluff at the top made significant profits? Man, even live action films reward quality at the box office better than this.

n it's good serie houghs, but failed still failed.
i think it''s already closed for possibility for sequel

at least CG R2 was the most successful. Lulu must have done something. >.>

Gundam 00, Geass R2 and Macross are the three best selling TV anime shows, just depends on how much each sold on blueray for the proper order.. with macross selling the most.. vol 1 being the best selling Blueray title of the year for Japan, anime and live action.

I'm rather sad Amatsuki and Kurenai failed, but I can't help but laugh at Blade of the Immortal, that's BeeTrain for you.

Interesting that Kaiba sold less than 738 copies...clearly, the director is working in the wrong industry.
