New TV Anime 07-Ghost Confirmed [Updated on Nov 25]

According to Enterbrain's Charaberrys magazine web page, a manga "07-Ghost" will be animated. It will start airing from April 2009.

07-Ghost manga is published on Comic ZERO-SUM magazine and its Tankoubon were published up to volume 6.

Note: They erased the 07-Ghost anime information from the web page. The first official announcement was supposed to be done in the ZERO-SUM magazine to be released on Nov 28th. This was a premature disclosure.

OH God, FINALLY! The manga is good, the action is excellent and the characters are all interesting and intriguing. The premise is good as well. I'm excited to see it finally animated after following the manga, as far as the scanlations permit me. Definitely definitely great news.

I've read only a few chapters of it and think it would probably be better as an anime than manga. In any case, I'm hoping to see Saiga Mitsuki fill in the main character's role.

Based on the title, I get the idea of something like "Ghost Hunt". However, when I looked at the manga coverart, I get the idea that this is another shounen-ai anime. I don't like the shounen-ai genre.

I'm not sure about this. The manga is pretty mediocre. Maybe animation will help since it's pretty action focused.

Although I just don't see how they will do that. Manga has enough material for ~10 episodes maximum...

Looks interesting. I think I'll try and read the manga first so by the time the anime comes out I won't be out of the loop if there are some changes or something
