Recommendation Club Newsletter~Holiday Edition

As we enter into one of the busiest times of the year, we here at the Recommendation Club would like to extend our wishes for each and every one of you to have a wonderful holiday season!

Since the September newsletter, our club has gained many new members, and seen the return of old ones. We would like to keep the momentum going, and with our member list now at 3,111, that should be no problem at all! ^_^.

We would like all of our members, old and new, to help keep this an active, and fun club, a place to Chat and to seek out recommendations in our General anime and General Manga thread as well as the specific anime genre threads, such as Drama and Romance and Sci-fi and many others as well.

It’s a great place to make new friends, or renew past friendships, and we urge all of our members to drop by, and post in the various threads and comment section, as well as share you expertise with other members.

We look forward to seeing you all here !

News and Request for Help

Our club is almost one year old and we'll be most likely celebrating it with lots of specials and contests, so you might wanna check out the club at least once every few days as something new might appear in the horizon. :D

We noticed that while the member count keeps growing by day, we aren't exactly as active as we should be. It would be nice to see more and more people chatting in the comments or in the chat thread. I'd like to mention that a chat thread in our club gets closed after a comment or so is made on page 50. I'd like to get this one closed so we can start one anew in our next club year. Thanks in advance.

I'd also be glad if you introduced yourself in our special threads or warmly welcome our new members that have posted there. Also, if you have any trouble deciding what anime you want to watch or if you want to help others, take a look at the recommendation thread and post there.

If anyone is willing to make member cards, just post the templates in this thread or pm them to me. If you have made some other kind of graphic for the club you can post it in the comments or, again, pm it to me.

I completely understand. I live in Lakeland, which is the middle of nowhere, haha. The heat is unbearable so I much prefer to stay indoors, though I'd probably miss Florida if I ever move to a colder state (I can't stand the cold and I've never even seen snow so I'd probably die x.x). What I'll miss the most when I go off to college is how peaceful and quiet it is here.

Hi hi! ^^ I like your page
I'm from Florida too >.< I know it sucks

Any orchestra sounds like a good orchestra to me. Although thats probably because I have the "untrained" ear. I've gone to see Hartford Symphony Orchestra a couple times before and every time its like I step into a new world(pardon the cliche). My friends might listen to the soundtrack of a movie but they have no idea what they're missing in real life ><
CanadianChill Aug 12, 2010 2:02 PM
you're in a real orchestra? :O thats sweet!!
I just watched Nodame Cantabile so now I'm obsessing over pianists/classical music and stuff. Anime does that to me >_>

But you're from my imagination.

I just said that because finally someone wasn't giving absolutely positive reviews to the anime. It's good, but not great.

What the...? Someone who doesn't absolutely praise an episode of Fullmetal Alchemist? You must not exist!

Well that's what makes Jesus so special I guess he loves the things you cannot. Even yourself, despite what you might think. Thats the whole point of salvation really. Even if the world condemn you, and you condemn you the idea that Jesus loves you whatever you maybe can be a beginning for a good and better life. of course there is a few chances given and it mainly counts for sincerity, using jesus as a get out of joil free card does not cut it, using him as a shiled to do evil does not cut it either, but if your heart sincerly ants to change and you find yourself trapped by your own hipocrisy and even the world around you and your mistakes and wrongs but wish it could be better, or different then it can, and just like anything it takes work, hard and honest work, and I dont mean going out becoming a priest starving yourself or living a life of poverty or charity working or even reading books to the sick though that is a great source of good, I mean really looking at yourself and changing being honest no matter how hard it is, and a real need and want to make yourself a better person and make a better world for those around you and yourself.

and no matter what as long as you follow that path jesus will always walk with you.

and also no matter where you go in the depths of hell he will be there as a door to salvation you can walk through but only if you really want to.

It's not easy, but that's why we make friends so that we can support each other when we make the really hard choices.

Also, just because jesus forgives you for your sins doesn't mean others will, you are on your own for that I am afraid but at least you know there is compasion for your life strugle and the reasons you did what you did and why you did them and all of those things you know that made you who you are he knows too, so theres comfort there as well.

But trust me, jesus is the most kicked out of home, and abused person, treating him like a door matt might be fun in the short term because he is I suppose naive and foolish when it comes to peoples salvation so he is easily tricked and made into a clown all too often for amusement purposes so in that way you really only fool yourself, so dont.

and despite my lengthy post about this subject I distance myself from jesus not because I want to, but because I know it would cause more pain to my life if I went around telling people about a better world they just dont believe can exist until after they die and make sure a permanent hell is always in play for many to cover thier own cowardliness.

Because when you die, you do just die, and there is no heavenly building or a GOD and people to sit with and parties and a new and perfect world, its just death, nothingness and thats all, the test was to make this world not a hell but a heaven and in that sense my freind we all failed so dont be too hard on yourself.

Keep fighting for that heaven on earth we know can exist, and take your peace of mind knowing this hell will one day be over.

The soul war my friend, you are a victim of it and your post in thread sound like you are a warrior for it.

There's a lot of rotting people in the internet, nobody gets out without being exposed to it or more.

Defenders of the soul fighting soul decay.
