Interesting take of how Rikka got to where she looks now.

I wonder if her classmate Tomo will make appearance in the main show. She seems to understand Rikka pretty well.

I am kind of glad Aya lost her role as Shinobu, because the new Seiyuu is quite satisfying.

Hmm...but we don't know how satisfying it might be if Aya voiced Shinobu, so I would not say that I am glad Aya did not get to voice Shinobu just because Maaya was good in voicing Shinobu....

Aya was really foolish to post a "indecent" picture of herself. It makes me think she was just whoring for attention, and that basically destroyed her career. and the fact she had an orgy with her band probably destroyed the "dreams" of her fans.

Wait, nobody has confirmed the orgy was a "fact". It is still just the report in a tabloid magazine.
Also I don't think Aya posted that picture herself. You have a credible source that says she posted the pic herself?

So many haters. This will be AOTY2012. Mark my words.

Yeah, when the volumes were released, I think it outsold most novels there is in a week.(impressive no matter how you look at it)

And fan were probably getting excited again, if they announced a season 2 right the, BAM. Instant hype for months, and guessing work would begin. Man... Who the hell is running Kyoani right now?
It's not KyoAni's decision to animate more Haruhi; it's the decision of the SOS Brigade production committee, which would be led by Kadokawa. Kadokawa gave approval for Nichijou (announced a year in advance) and Hyouka (announced 5 months in advance). Those decisions were made in 2009/2010 respectively prior to any sales from BD-Box/movie BD. The show that'll likely air in Spring 2013 was decided in 2011, so it could be Haruhi.

You also neglect to realize that 2013 is the 10th anniversary of the publication of the light novels. It would make poor business sense to run an anime the year prior to that when you can release a new anime, novel, manga volumes (including the first volume of the new Koizumi manga) in one year, thus maximizing any possible revenue.

Hirano Aya has pulled back from late night anime to a large extent, but still has recurring roles in shows like Fairy Tail, and was recently announced for a role in Girls und Panzer.

However, Fairy Tail is an ongoing role she committed before her troubles. All the roles she got after that have been minor roles, including the one in the coming Girls and Panzer. So it is still not clear how ready Hirano is ready to work on a main heroine role. She was even removed from the cast of Nisemonogatari (Shinobu) and got replaced by Maaya Sakamoto - it is not common for anime to change the seiyuu cast for the same character even if the speaking part is small so this got people guessing.

Personally I think it's just because they've been busy with other things. I do agree that they should do it sooner rather than later though. Enthusiasm always cools over time, and even Haruhi isn't completely immune to that.

When the Haruhi fever rose again with the publication of two new volumes after a long break, it would have been a great opportunity to announce a 3rd season. Yet it did not happen. Now I worry a golden chance has been lost.

I was really hoping this wouldn't be another Kyoani moeblob show (still hoping, since it's just a short). I mean, the PVs looked kind of action-y and stuff! D: I want that!

I don't understand why they don't just make an another season of Haruhi Suzumiya... And it's baffling how lazy the writer is, making too much money?

This is one of the biggest mysteries in anime fandom even in Japan. The same question pops up again and again (as well as false hopes). At the end no one knows. The stock is more than enough. The demand is clearly there -- it may have been hurt by the Endless Eight debacle but it was restored by the Disappearance movie. Why not grab the momentum provided by the success of the movie to go for another season? One plausible theory is the turmoil of the relationship between Aya Hirano, the seiyuu behind Haruhi, and her agency stopped any progress of the project, but I am not sure if it is really the whole reason (of course changing the seiyuu is one solution but fans in Japan are very sensitive to any change in the seiyuu cast, particularly the main characters).

Anyways, the title is confusing as hell sounding in English, why not instead of chu ni byo, call it middle school sophomore/second year syndrome? That way it actually TELLS something

Perhaps that would be confusing to some other people? At least "Adolescent Delusion" TELLS something.

He doesn't have time to pay for anything.
Since all his time is dedicated to posting here about how he won't watch or won't read any upcoming pieces of work.
