Evangelion 3.0 Due on Nov 17

According to Cinema Today, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo was announced to be premiered on November 17th. The release date was displayed on the wall of Shinjuku Wald 9 Cinema in Tokyo.

Does anyone have an idea as to when the dvd might come out? I really want to see it but it will only be subbed once a dvd or blu ray is out :(

YESSSSS!!! I've waited so long for this movie!!! My cousin was lucky enough to see it and she said it was good. Now to wait for some torrented version to pop up so I can watch it too lol.

Film was awesome. Great animation, great story - even though it wasn't the story I wanted. The soundtrack was absolutely superb, I'd say that was the best part of the movie. When the credits rolled, I got hit by that same feeling of awe I was back when I saw 2.0.

More on-topic, I'm really curious to see how they handle Mari (new glasses??). The main complaint was that she was introduced and not developed at all, so I hope 3.0 does a good job of that. I'm a little worried that they're introducing more new characters, as well as putting a lot of emphasis on other things, so I have absolutely no idea which way they're going. All we can do is hope for the best, I guess.

Well, all I can say without spoiling anything is try to shed your expectations before seeing the film. If you think about it though, Mari gets as much backstory as Asuka, but nobody complained about that because, well, we all know who Asuka is. I like to approach the films as if the original series never existed.

This applies for the people in Japan, though. The people who live in Europe or other country won't be able to see it like until May next year or something.
