At the end of the airing of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance on Nihon TV, Evangelion: 3.0 Q Quickening was announced to be premiered in the autumn of 2012.

I did (not) like the cliff hanger at the end of eva 2.22
Still, I guess all I am missing out on is the "new footage" as I have actually seen the series. I know what happens next XP, though I do want to see it in the movie form and with new scenes

If I can find a camrip, I might very well give it a watch ... doubly so if someone actually subs it. Otherwise, I'll endure the long, long wait. I kinda hope 3 and 4 come out close together, because waiting for movies sucks. Especially for American otaku :/

Is it bad that I jumped for joy when I saw the release date?

I'm just that excited.

For some reason, I'm not getting the feeling that this would top 2.0. Still, I do hope I'm proven wrong.

No camrip for me either. Don't wanna ruin the experience.

Having said that, the trailer makes Asuka look pretty damn badass/hot. Can't wait.

I highly doubt I will watch the Camrip either. Sure, i'll have to wait longer but I'm sure it'll be much more satisfying watching a Blu-ray copy of it. I know it was with 2.0.
