| Kenji Kawai is probably my favorite and (unpopular opinion) he has the best Fate soundtrack. Hajime Mizoguchi (Yoko Kanno's ex) hasn't been involved in many anime but all his anime are easily within the top 50 of anime scores. Speaking of Yoko Kanno, Yoko Kanno is good although I prefer her vocal tracks from Macross, Turn A Gundam, Ghost in the Shell: SAC abd the stuff Bones were making in the early 2000s to her more typical instrumental tracks. So that's 3 and we need two others... I like the music from Akira and Angel's Egg a lot but both those guys have only been involved in one anime so I won't include them. Hans Zimmer was also involved in only one anime so I can't possibly include him. The guy behind Death Note was good. I wasn't into post rock back then (I only got into it after playing GTA Chinatown Wars) so I appreciate his music more. Shame what happened to him. Man that's hard I'll just be mainstream and say Sawano and Kajiura and complete the list. |
