That's quite a lot to say about A Place Further Than The Universe since it's actually my all-time favorite. To cut it short, I just like the whole journey. When the story doesn't stay in the same place during the whole anime, this is what makes it more interesting. The songs are great and used at just the right timings too!

About Silent Witch, given the fact that our tastes are similar, I would say that if you find the MC cute (not annoying, like her personality, for example), you would probably love it. I was actually about to give it an 8 out of 10, but I was moved so much by the last episode, so I gave it 9/10 in the end. Totally recommend!

Frieren was the biggest mystery for me. Overall I wouldn't say I disliked it, but I can't see why it'd be top 1 of all times. Maybe if someone likes fantasy they'd appreciate it more. For me that indifferent look on almost every character's face upsets me. I know, it's because it's a "chill" anime, but it makes the characters too same-ish for me with a few exceptions (Stark is the best).

Oh, wow, an anime screening? There were a few here too because of Ghibli film anniversaries. I missed Spirited Away but we watched Howl's Moving Castle in the cinema and it was an unforgettable experience.

Hi! Thanks for writing!

Yes, I enjoy it very much! The pace is just right for me. I don't feel it too slow. And the characters are good too. The only odd thing for me is the drama part. Most conflicts are resolved in 2 episodes but while they last they don't make a significant difference.

Other than that, I start the new semester next week, but this is already MSc education. Hopefully I'll have time for working too, at my workplace they said they'd be happy to see me back when the new semester starts. But my favorite accomplishment is getting my driver's license, if I count every module and requirement, it took me more than a year.

And what about you? Did anything interesting happen? Have you seen any good anime?

What makes Mushishi great imo is the juxtaposition between a calming atmosphere, sometimes achieved by the soundtrack and other times just by the soundscape of the show (diegetic sounds like the footsteps of the protagonist Ginko walking on snow are also still on my mind after nearly a decade of having watched it) and the terrifying aspects of what's going on in the lives of every person that Ginko comes across because of these natural entities called the mushi. I wouldn't call it a horror show, though, because it is not what the sound ambiance of the show achieves. The closest sensation to it I can think of is lucid dreaming: you know you're dreaming, and you feel like some things are really wrong with the dream, but you're not exactly panicking because of it as you'd with a nightmare. Quite the contrary, on some cases.

I want to give it a try eventually, if only because it's one of the most special manga I've read. But I finished the story fairly recently so I wanted to wait a little bit.

I get what you say about the OST, happens to me with Mushishi. I want to read the manga so bad but the memories I have of it are deeply associated to Toshio Masuda's fantastic background music, so it's hard. But I know I'll get to it eventually.

Because I tend not to watch anime when I know the story isn't completely adapted. I switched to manga long ago. Now I only watch anime when it's original or when I can't find the manga completely translated. And of course, for Girls' Last Tour I read the manga, which I loved.

She's my waifu for a reason.

I love all of the Clannad OST. The OST is the main reason why I love it so much. You should definitely watch it, and if you do end up watching it, I would like to hear your thoughts about it! The reason for that is because I just like to hear peoples thoughts about Clannad.

My top 5 would be Clannad (obviously), Violet Evergarden, Bunny Girl Senpai, Non Non Biyori and Re:zero. If the OST is good, it's 100% going to be one of my favorite animes.

Hehe, yeah, it is hard to sit through some anime, but I keep myself motivated by challenges, which makes it more bearable.

I don't really have a set way of how my favourites work; I just don't update them as frequently as other users, mostly because it's hard to pick and choose. ^_^" Girls Last Tour would definitely be on there if MAL allowed for more profile favourites, though.

Also, I couldn't help but notice Violet Evergarden in your favourites; definitely a good choice.

You're for sure not getting shot. I'm a HUGE Itsuki stan, I think I like her too much actually. It's actually starting to get out of hand, LOL. I WILL (not) find Itsuki irl.

Yup, I love anime OST. Some of my favorites would be, Shining in the Sky, Roaring Tides, Youth's Pig Bastard, Nagisa - Warm Piano Arrange, Never Coming Back and both Sunny Road and Ren-chon and a Sunny Road. Most of them are Clannad OST because Clannad OST is the best OST I have ever heard.

You got any favorite OST's?

Sorry for the late reply but I hope you have an amazing day. :)

Good luck with your exams! (Me too, hehe, I always find a spare hour to watch something)

I can't really help with that, I never tried starting a business. Only my grandparents, and they are quite good at it ^^

Oh, okay, so Aria! I'll keep it in the back of my mind

Sure! So far I only showed it to 2 people, so you can join as third. ^^ I plan to continue working on it on Tuesday, I'll send a PM

Sorry for the late reply, 2 days till the deadline of my thesis. But I'm progressing well
It’s time to ditch the text file.
