I see that this story is quite controversial. Here’s my take: if you happen to be one of those people who loves a drama romance with an imperfect and sometimes toxic couple, you will love this story. I typically don’t mind if there is some toxicity, because I think it makes character development from a romance standpoint more profound. I actually love this series. It’s probably my favorite Webtoon I’m reading right now. My only complaint is that the story is a little stagnant right now, but I have a feeling the plot is about to pick up a bit. I feel like this story ... has some triggering elements and heavy topics, so if you are worried about that then I wouldn’t suggest it.

Just be warned that if you start this series you might binge-read it!! That’s what happened to me—93 episodes in about a week. I don’t know. I think it’s a very interesting story, and the plot is really well-developed, whether or not you agree with it. Give it a shot if you’re open to it. You may truly enjoy it!

I think this one is for more mature audiences, it is an interesting prespective and makes one reconsider life. It isn't a frustrating story if it is binge read. It is a rollercoaster and even though I'm great at guessing the plot, I couldn't

I think it is interesting the fact how they so desperatly need each other, even if it's toxic (everything in their life is) so we can't just look at it with "normal coloured glasses", I think they're eachothers path to peace.

If the reader is able to go through (and see through) the violence, it is a beautifully constructed story where everyone ... is trying to survive and endure the sins this world has (greed, etc)

I wanted so badly for this story to get better! I stuck it out week to week but I think I'm going to drop it entirely :( At the start, it seemed like a good premise. Not super unique but I was interested due to the pretty art style and likeable FL. But it quickly became a story of abuse & misunderstandings between the main leads. I don't want our girl to even be with the ML which rarely happens...that's how horrible of a person he is...and this has not improved 60+ chapters in.

**Minor spoiler that you learn in like the first chapter: Male lead ... hates female lead because of things her father has done. They are married and he hates her guts and makes her feel like dog shit at all times. Turns out, the leads have history together but our girl cannot share for reasons, so ML keeps going on not knowing this.

The story is extremely hot and cold. Anytime it looks like there's some development in their relationship, it plummets back to the ground. He is NOT GOOD for her by any means...even if this shared history between them ever comes to light, the way he treated her is inexcusable. He is not a likeable character. I wanted to give him a chance for the first many chapters but he's just terrible.

CHARACTERS
I've said enough about the male lead but our girl is fairly likeable, dependable, kind, caring, forgiving etc. She is too pure - torn between her father and her husband even though they both treat her like garbage. Also there are really no side characters. None are likeable or notable, so the story completely rides on the main leads...

ART
I really liked the art style in the first chapters. It was colorful and I loved the outfit designs. It seemed as it went on it became blander and simpler. The male lead gets a haircut or something and becomes less attractive. The men are also built like wrenches in this and it's kind of funny :p

I really wanted to like this :c but it's in a state of CONSTANT AND NEVER RESOLVED misunderstandings, abuse, toxicity between the characters and it just makes me pity the female lead, she never ever gets a break. The male lead will do or say something that gives us some hope but it's ruined moments later usually. I just can't see myself continuing to read this and enjoying it :/ So no, I don't recommend this title. I consider the time I spent reading this to be a total waste of time.
