| Yeah, this episode was really wonderful. Would also not have expected to tear up a little when Miyo smilied due to the present of Kudou. And because some crucial informations finally got revelead, I'm so excited to see what happens next. Seems like we have to wait a little longer for Kaya's reaction to Miyo's new life. I hope this gets spicy. |
| The date that Kiyoka and Miyo had in town was not only wholesome, but it helped Miyo to enjoy herself and relax more, while also showing how considerate Kiyoka is towards her. The old lady that ran the kimono shop is spot on to call Miyo a "diamond in the rough" and urged Kiyoka to do everything he could to protect her and help her shine. So not only did he order two new kimono for Miyo, but he also got her a brand new comb. Thanks to all of this, he was finally able to see Miyo smile for the first time since she arrived. =) I fully respect how Kiyoka is going above and beyond with his mission to find out more about Miyo's family life and the findings that he got from the detective only made him more concerned for her, while also showing his disgust to her she was treated by her birth mother and stepmother. It's also a good thing that he's vigilant, as he noticed invisible shiki-gami surrounding him, which he easily dispatched with a small flaming inferno. So far, I'm really enjoying this series, both the wholesome moments between Kiyoka and Miyo, as well as the ongoing familial plot about the past of Miyo's deceased mother and Her and Koji's fathers having their tense debate about Miyo. There's a lot going on, but at the moment, the series is hitting the right notes. =D |
| That was a damn good episode, I didn't want it to end. The pace at which the story is unfolding is perfect. I'm loving the relationship building. Also completely in love with both main characters. I'm expecting to see more action involved in future episodes. |
| Kiyoka's so gentile and kind to Miyo. And it already feels like she's living peacefully. Might as well she puts some work on her self esteem now; I would love to see her confident and happy. |

Or maybe I'm just oblivious. I don't know. The plot line with Miyo’s mother family is interesting though. I wonder if she used her ability on the dad because I just can’t fathom how he could detest and treat his daughter like that. There’s got to be more to the story. Anyways, I've only read the manga, not the novel so I don't have an idea if this is the case. Good theory though ngl. |

| Oh wow, this show is just so great. I love how the beautiful purity of one side of the story plays against the squalid ugliness of the other. It's bad to wish for it I know, but a horrible death for her father and step mother would seem appropriate. |

| miyo finally smiled and that gave me a warm feeling in my heart, good stuff. date with kudo and i'm glad he's tryna heal her, kimono and a comb as a gift is a step forward. yurie and that shopkeeper were also real nice. i feel bad for kouji though, he's stuck with the extemely spoiled kaya. bro used katon no jutsu from naruto at the end. |

| When Kaya and Kouji appeared I almost worried they'd change the story. And I'm glad they didn't and followed the original. This episode had me fangirling so much *-*. I love every second, moment of them being together. Kiyoka learning more about Miyo's life and what she has been through... He slowly comes to understand why she acts a certain way. At the same time she's also changing him for the better. He really is thoughtful and considerate, even if he has a hard time expressing it. My favorite part is probably when he told her he wants them to be honest and communicate openly with one another. This is so wholesome ♥ It's also very sweet he gave her a comb, I nearly giggled. Miyo truly deserves someone like this in her life and it made me happy how even Yurie is shipping and supporting them. So far I'm really happy with this anime adaptation. |

| For Miyo to experience outside life for the first time after all that time in that rotten house is like a miracle that comes true for her, and that's what i love. She gets to experience city life and the people that live there as well, its nice to see Kiyoka taking good care of her, she's a precious diamond like the lady at the shop said and that pink kimono would look good on her, no doubt. There's some bickering between Minrou & Shinichi, it seems like Minrou will do everything in his power to bring Miyo into the Tatsuishi family. Meanwhile Kaya is eavesdropping, bruh. Glad that Kouji drags her away from that and takes her to the city for some shopping. Kiyoka has bought a little present for Miyo and for the first time we see Miyo laughing after so long, that was cute. Seems like a person did some digging on Miyo's old household and Kiyoka now knows that she doesn't have supernatural powers and he gets attacked by origami figures? |

| This episode confirmed that my previous episode's speculation is correct and the Usuba family has an unusual supernatural ability. However, I didn't realize that Miyo's father is straight-up living trash. It seems that the only reason he had married Sumi Usuba (Miyo's mother) was to obtain the supernatural ability under his control as his daughter but as soon as he realized that Miyo doesn't possess any supernatural ability he neglected her. The other thing that piqued my interest is what happened at the end of the episode, the shikigami (paper cranes) that were spying on Kiyoka, if I were to think of the people who would have the initiative to do so, it would be, the whole Samori family Kouji Tatsuishi, mustache guy or even Hana (assuming she's still alive). Theories aside, this episode was as wholesome as the last, seeing Miyo finally have a normal life makes me happy. Kiyoka is also turning out to be a kind guy. |

| I don't know how many times I screamed and muttered "Oh God I'm going crazy!" while watching this episode :"3 they enjoyed their first date wholeheartedly and both Miyo and Kudou smiled a lot! It's too cute AAAAA Kudou finally learns about Miyo's life during her time at her father's house as well as learns that Miyo's mother is from the Usuba family... but even so Miyo has no supernatural abilities.. Anyway, Miyo is a sweet girl, Kudou is a thoughtful man and Yurie is a kind-hearted person. They are all so precious and I love them so much :") Oh and yep, Miyo's father doesn't care about her at all. Someone in the previous episode forum needs to see this so they don't act like they know if they haven't read the manga or the novel. :> |

| Oh, the date was just lovely. And that comb proposal made his long-time attendant all kinds of giddy! That was super sweet. Now he knows she has no power, apparently, he is careful and just investigates everything, trust but verify style. I like it. I'm rooting for them both so hard! |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| This anime is very sweet. They're depicting the trauma and effects of abuse/neglect very accurately, so it's really satisfying to see Miyo being treated better at the hands of her new husband. They set up the subplot of Miyo not wanting to tell Kiyoka about the fact that she doesn't have the gift (a fear that's obviously unwarranted and is due to her abandonment issues) only to shatter it not too long after when we see that Kiyoka already suspected it from the very beginning. Not sure if I like the way the show is dealing with having an immediate payoff vs delayed one, but they're keeping it simple. A solid 9/10. The spy was obviously from the other family who wants Miyo to be part of their bloodline. |
