It seems both teams are unleashing their absolute skills to surpass their limits. Team Z in particular is noticable for being the underdogs here.

This was probably one of my favorite match in the anime so far, to see Team Z mature and evolve through their tactics The gamelay analysis was interesting too from a narrative perspective.

Ah look someone’s afraid of losing and he’s a.. prodigy. So what? Simple, will make it into the zone will solo everyone. But one must not forget, our protag is still in the opposing team. So the moment team V took a lead, team Z equalised with Kunigami scoring his third goal of the tournament. Pep talk from Raichi worked wonders.

Though this match isn’t just about football, we still have traitor-kun waiting for his redemption. And as expected Blue lock didn’t disappoint, they gave that dude a fucking redemption. Not like anyone cares at this point.

Match in extra time.. and team V were supposed to be monsters, just reminding. They should conclude this next episode.

Just as I predict that Team Z still need all eleven members, including Kuon, to win.

Everyone in this facility is aiming to be the best striker, but from the latest real world trend, goalkeeper might be more valuable than striker, especially in a penalty shoot-out. I'm wondering if there's a Blue Lock program for goalkeeper as well...

Reo X Nagi relationship perfectly represents OneLove policy.

Kunigami in the after end-credit scene though, cutest thing in the world, he attac but he also protec.

Kuon trying to redeem himself lol. Well, Isagi is finally awakening and understanding his weapon. The music for that part was real menacing. Wonder if that's a foreshadow on what's to come for him. And I loved that last shot with Isagi's eyes. It screams determination. Go Isagi. Go!

This episode was so peak! The Blue Lock Kicks and the Blue Lock Scores really made an emphasis to how influential Mr. Lock and Ego are for the Blue Lock World.

Kuon intentionally took the hit with the red card to keep Team Z's hopes alive but it's still fuck him. Another intense episode and now we wait another week to see its conclusion (although I was hoping the match would have ended with this episode).

What an intense encounter between these two great teams. So many tactics going on and a very strong defense on top of that. Loved this episode. Can't wait to know the result of this match.

The triple attack and Nagi's awakening gave me chills at both points. Blue lock is genuinely a unique sports anime standing out above the rest due to the whole Egoist side of the story.

Whew this episode was pretty intense, it was over before I knew it. Nagi was awesome this episode; the way he finally moved on his own accord and scored that goal was pretty damn sick. Every time the ball came towards him, I was on the edge of my seat. The defenders/goalies were great too though, finally Iemon had his five second moment to shine lol. The Chigiri-Gagamaru-Kunigami link to the goal was hype too. Isagi is finally learning how to better use his spatial awareness to predict where the ball will go. Still couldn't care less about Kuon though, his backstory did nothing for me. Looks like this last match is finally going to end in the next episode. Best match so far by miles.
The additional time is always something I look forward to watching. Kunigami's act was so adorable xD His impression of Niko was spot-on. 10/10.

They made that moment with Kuon so intense! I love the way the episode set it up so then Kunigami would score again and Kuon's one choice to interfere or not would determine whether he or Kunigami would move on.

Kuon is so annoying, and his sacrifice doesn't make sense. Instead of getting a red card (which is so out of place for his egoistic plays before), he could have really shined if he actually played with football techniques, maybe with some unexpected weapon no one had seen before and everyone might have gained more respect for him. But now he just looks like a complete looser who isn't even needed by his teammates anymore, they are doing quite fine with just the 10 of them.

Team V got nerfed just for the plot. I honestly never found Nagi an interesting character, not even later into the series. A so-made genius at football. He's very good though, but that's about it. Isagi's development was great. His ability to use his vision keeps getting better and they've got the chance to win now.

Nothing like a banger episode of Blue lock after watching England get knocked out by France. Nagi's superhuman goal to make it 4-3 looked like the final nail in the coffin for Team Z but Isagi discovering the usefulness of his spatial ability and making some key interceptions combined with persistent shooting equalized the game.

Kuon also had a crucial moment in this episode. His flashback makes it apparent why he betrayed Team Z at first, and why he also gave them a final chance after doing literally nothing the whole match.

The episode ends with Reo's goal-bound free-kick but through instants of "Bluelockness", Team Z has one final chance. No matter what happens, this has been the best match so far.

That was such an intense episode!!!!

This anime is truly one of the best that came out this year and this episode is my favourite so far.

Koun is still stupid in my opinion, but he did what he thought was the best at the time so I guess I will let it slide. Can't wait to see what Isagi gonna do next episode >w<

Well that's an unexpected cliffhanger, the score went from 3-3 to 4-3 to 4-4, and now we're in stoppage time, Nagi almost score his winning goal to make 5-4 for team V but Kuon had to sacrifice himself by tackling Nagi and receiving a red card, Team Z still has not forgiven him but later,

The beast in Nagi has awaken and now he really wants to play some soccer. Like a baby who's learning to walk for the first time, Nagi is learning what happens when you put in the effort and how hard work really pays off. It seems like Nagi was about to score the game winning goal for Team V, but Kuon out of nowhere tackled him and got a red card. Still doesn't change the fact that he was sabotage Team Z and they'll probably win in spite of him sitting out.

Congratulations on Morocco being the first African team to make it to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

Pretty intense chapter, it is obvious that team z is going to win even since the beginning but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy the ride.

I didn't expect kuon jumping on nagi like that and getting the red card, I knew he was going to help but more like saving a score and joining the last play.

Both teams are giving their all and showing the power that contains in them, Team Z is finally pulling everything out the closet to win that match and it seems like they won't give up on it.

Kuon bein the absolute madman for once jumped at Nagi before the had the chance to score the goal and Kuon got an Red card for it.

Hmmm yeah no. I don't but much into the sympathy for Kuon. Aside from that red card play, he didn't really help and that last shout doesn't mean much considering his intentions. In any case, I guess Isagi's weapon's awakening let's him run simulations on real time. Let's see how it goes.

PS: Guess "The Blue Lock is real" meme is dead now huh? Good, you can't just rely on strikers to win the World Cup. Better work on those penalties for next time.
