 Entertainment company Happinet opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Kyousuke Kamishiro's Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta (My Stepsister is My Ex-Girlfriend) light novel on Thursday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2022.Hiro Shimono (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?) and Rina Hidaka (Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku you desu!) are starring as Mizuto Irido and Yume Irido, respectively. Staff Director: Shinsuke Yanagi (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun) Series Composition, Script: Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) Character Design: Katsuyuki Satou (Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujou) Studio: Project No.9 Kamishiro began posting the romantic comedy novel, also known by its short title TsureKano, on the Kakuyomu website in August 2017. Kadokawa began printing the series through its Sneaker Bunko imprint the following December, featuring illustrations by TakayaKi (Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou). The seventh volume shipped on July 30. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel in English for a digital release in English on November 20. Rei Kusakabe began drawing a manga adaptation under Niconico Seiga's Dra-Dra Sharp# web manga portal in May 2019. Kadokawa shipped the third volume on May 8. | When was this adaptation announced? I wouldn't be surprised if I managed to reincarnate a few times before it got more information. | After watching the PV a few more times, I kinda hope that they fool around and rekindle their relationship lol. Their dynamic is pretty entertaining and I think some steamy moments between them would be nice given the art and animation style here |
