| It's a great episode,I didn't expect that wit studios will choose this kind of animation which is not bad by the way.but they resemble me more like Disney characters. The scene where mc cried in his room,that made me feel so bad for him.he is just a kid and ofc nothing more to expect from his brother he is just quite opposite to him And while coming down to kage he is funny thief,the one thing that I didn't understand is that how come bojji wasn't freaked out by seeing a talking shadow |
| It's certainly going for that dated Ghibli-esque art and animation style, and while certainly not theatrical quality, is very expressive and animated, though in the way where you really don't want to be looking at too many in-between frames because people tend to go all stretchy and blobby. Which is still a far cry more visually enjoyable than not bothering to animate at all, or using speedlines and shouting, but it's definitely an unusual stylistic choice these days. |

| I've been anticipating this show since I saw the cover and the studio in charge. No way it was gonna be a simple kids show. After seeing that it's backed by Aniplex and airs in Noitamina, I can only expect greatness. First episode didn't disappoint. |

| This anime is all in the direction. No sakuga, no heart pounding suspense like Vivy or most of Wit's other work. Just good, solid pacing. You never get bored despite nothing going on. |

The prev season was really weak though. 86 S2, Komi San, Kimetsu, and Mushoku are all highly rated at least. Have watched the first 3 and they seem good. I def like Ousama Ranking more though. |

Ousama seems like it will rise above all of the other. Yeah I am not really excited about this season either apart from Ousama. The season before this was a complete washout for me. Sure there were some good shows but only sequels. But the season before these 2 was a banger. Odd Taxi, Link Click both one of the best originals I have seen. Had other great shows too. Edit: Vivy is an original too!! I dont think there has ever been a season with 2 8.5+ originals... let alone 3!! These 3 and Fruits Basket, fumetsu, tokyo revengers, moriarty, nomad, 86, iruma, zombie saga and Shadow HousE!!! Hell of a season. |

| I love the art style and the animation! The character designs are also adorable especially Bojji he's so cute~ The atmosphere is really like watching a cartoon (don't know what or why but I immediately thought of Pixar). Prince Bojji and Kage will make a fun and unique duo! At first I thought I wouldn't be able to finish this because I'm quite sensitive to topics or stories involving deaf people, especially when people laugh at Prince Bojji and say he's stupid, making fun of him as if he doesn't understand what people think towards him.. I'm really thankful for the 'cartoony feel' because it managed to ease my sensitivity. I really like it when Prince Bojji with his own strength manages to defeat Prince Daida, even though it looks simple but somehow it feels amazing to me. I can't wait for Prince Bojji and Kage's adventures to come! |

| Alright, finally able to watch this first episode. Definitely having the same experience as the pv, its not a lie advertisement, its just outstand me, idk why. The bgm just so damn vibing me hard to the scene, very touching so far, especially when seeing Bojji (Bocchi Oji) crying like that. Hoo boy.... The oped also nice, catchy to my hearing. The art style imo following a classic one style, which you must be know whose that i refer too, and wit somehow pull that good enough to actually make me enjoy it. The story itself still fine so far, very basic of introduction, since this isbjust a very beginning. His father got a 7th place for the ranking. I wonder what kind of king that got the first place? Though, the first meet between first prince Bojji and Kage already sentimental. I see that they already get the destined fate to be a great partner for the sake of a better future. Yeah, i can see Kage as Bojji future translator xd. Then, the fight with that typical bratty prince. That's how the table turned around, right? Definitely loved every people reaction. Its me! Really looking forward to see the next episode... |

| This is... this is amazing! The animation is incredible, a breath of fresh air with all this style and fluidness. I was hyped by the trailer, but this first episode is amazing. Ended it with a big smile. Big candidate for AOTS! |

| Welp this show has far exceeded my expectations....It's not bad...In fact its really good....This is gonna be fun :) With 23 episodes the anime will surely be worth it :) Can't wait to see more of Bojji and Kage!!! |
| Honestly, the art style has a touch of nostalgia. But this is not the show for me. Being deaf is not an original concept and I can't see myself showing any sympathy towards an anime character who can't speak and gets discriminated against by an entire nation. |

| Yo I'm invested, damn sure about that. Before the season began, I didnt really have any interest on this show. I think the art style was cool when I saw the PV, and the story seems interesting enough, but like most people out there we just kinda slept on this...until now. Can't wait for this show to blossom, and ayo it's 2-cour so that will definitely happen. Thanks to the hype, that impressive rating, and genuine reception from other viewers, I can now have a reason to watch this. Oh actually it shouldn't be a reason, this show is a MUST WATCH. |

| The art is a bit too cartoon-ish but the most bizarre thing was that the scales of the characters were all over the place, apparently by design. At one moment we see that Bojji can..... fit in the palm of his father with plenty of room to spare(?!?); we can literally see that Bojji is smaller than a single finger of the king. However in the next moment, when he is sparring with his brother, we can see that he is roughly just a head shorter than him. So he is short but not a miniature like the people from Hakumei to Mikochi. As for the King at one moment (when he is fighting in the past) we see that he is 4 meters tall or something, in another moment we see that his PM and Domas are roughly as tall as the king's... bed, with the king looking literally like a giant beside them (with a head 4 or 5 times larger than theirs), but later on when we see them beside the king's bed from another angle we can see that their size difference is much smaller than before. Playing fast and loose with character scales appears to be clearly intentional (I suppose the creators thinks it gives the anime a magical feel or something) but it is disorienting at best, and it just looks ridiculous at worst. Last but not least, why was Domas so much surprised that Bojji could take on Daida? Are we supposed to buy that Domas, Bojji's personal sword-fighting instructor, never noticed that Bojji had superior dodging and evading skills although that other random guy who just happened to see him evade all those snakes once knew about it? I will comment on plot and characters later, when I get a better feel of them. |
