THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Heh, this was unusually entertaining. I'm pleased to see how Miko is protrayed in the anime so far, especially with some of her stoic yet curiousity.

Got to see the supernatural side of the show including one of the spirits shown from the very first key visual. On most parts, I think this anime so far has capture the premise pretty well in terms of its content. Oh and I kinda like the colorful (literally) OP song.

I saw something in the room, and yeah it started with a dark scene in a small room. When the girl turned on the nightlight, the microwave and refrigerator turned on and a ghost appeared from inside.... It's like an ancient fairy tale but yeah, it's pretty scary. Hitoe and Junji, This host is pretty cool. First time to meet Yuria, she look like mysterious girl and also i like Hana, she has big oppai and especially with that pink bra hhmm... This is unique, the toilet scene where Miko-chan is shown and the pantsu, this is an erotic horror anime. I don't know why this girl's talk is really erotic, I like it when they eat but if the initial episode showed a scene of buying underwear, hmmm that's good. Give me shitagi scene, lol. I wonder, if Hana and Miko go to buy shitagi, then what size bra will Hana buy, is it J cup, huh?

When you can't hear something then the horror anime will become real horror, xD. The pic that was sent through the Line turned into a monster, a girl who can see monsters but the girl is not aware, this is interesting. Nee mieteru hhmmm... I don't know why this damn monster is so scary but also stupid. Yeah, She could see but pretended not to see, it was scary being able to see something that others couldn't see. Tried some rituals but yeah, it didn't work. The monster appeared in the bed, and yeah she almost got rape by mosnter look at this oppai

For an Op, it's pretty good and I like that especially she said yamete yamete yamete yamete kudasai.

This is definitely gonna be a fun ride. It's about a high school girl, Yotsuya Miko who one day suddenly felt like she's able to see some things that not everyone can see. At first, she thought she was just hallucinating but nope, that was actually the case with her. I'm more interested in seeing how she's gonna be managing all that without getting scared every time as this show is gonna go forward. Also, would be interesting to see the implementation of comedic elements in a horror setting cuz there are definitely those moments in this show. The monsters actually look terrifying which from the horror POV is a great sign. Some of them are just nightmare fuel, ngl. Props to her, this kinda stuff legit can make someone shit their pants. LOL. Also, I love Hana.

Passione has a pretty up-and-down track record with their shows. So, I wish they can handle this one without any big problems. So far, the animation and everything seem pretty good. No complaints yet. Really looking forward to this since the manga is quite popular and it has a pretty good rating and reviews. Hoping for a great adaptation. The OP is pretty good as well.

This is a horror comedic story airing alongside the BL Sankaku Mado, and this is easily the light-hearted comedic horror show.

I've gotta say, that's how you start a horror show alright with the creepy undertones, straight from a TV variety show that presents the October Halloween vibes.

It's very easy to get used to Miko Yotsuya, the girl that could see spirits, along with her classmates Hana Yurikawa (with those large boobs) and Yulia Nikaidou, though we don't see the spirits at first. Introduce the characters, then set in with the spirit sightings that sees Miko scared shitless while maintaining a straight face.

The creepiness doesn't stop there with the comedic hilarity, and where Miko goes, the spirits follow. I'm gonna have nightmares of "Can you see me?" repeating as the night goes. Even as Miko sets salt for exorcism start, that's not nearly enough to dissuade the spirits, so Miko has no choice but to contend with them around her anytime, anywhere.

There's plenty of fanservice here and there that's kinda forced in your face, and the manga has plenty of them. While Passione learns from Interspecies Reviewers being Men of Culture with those angles, this is a good change from the manga to set the anime right.

A pretty good OST, and that rounds up a good manga now in anime form that's become one of the expectant shows of the Fall season.
A pretty good start, this will be a fun ride of a horror comedy.

Is always? The maximum humor I've seen there is "ololo, Hana is a funny dumb blond". This is somehow not enough for a comedy.

Those 'ghosts' look scary, but it was turned out to be funny more than scary. lol. Maybe because those ghosts were ignored by Miko.

btw, nice fan services from Miko.

Early chapters are just "Miko does poker face for a few pages and that's it" so they had to expand it somehow, and even in the later chapters there isn't much of a horror.

Damn im really fun of those sexy angles for Miko she got the curves im on date with manga. Its really good so im looking forward to this adaptation. Art is manga is 10/10 and some of the monsters are really scary and creepy looking so i wonder how it will look in anime.

Now we all know why those ghosts follow her around.

The funny thing is, it's actually pretty close to pre-serialization because in the end the mangaka ditched ecchi mostly.

This will be an interesting one for sure, with banger OP and ED. Also some of those fanservice shots are always appreciable, just keep them coming.

Well, that's quite different from the manga... Understandable, since if they were to adapt the manga faithfully it would be very episodic for a while, like Kaguya-sama's adaptation of 3-4 titles per EP
However, it might have a chance to still be a good anime though. At least the adaptation is not as cheesy as Re-Kan adaptation, which tarnish the original manga with cheesy dramas that was never in the source materials to begin with.

I really enjoyed the first episode, really nice to see a Comedy Horror anime once in awhile. The only down side to it so far is the Ecchi in it, which I don’t mind Ecchi at all, it just doesn’t fit for this anime, but either way it doesn’t bother me lol. (Won’t last long anyways since I’ve seen the manga) Beside that, I’m looking forward to episode 2.

Never Read the Manga. The plot seems very similar to Natsume Yuujinchou, and i know nothing can top that anime, So i thought to give this anime a try. As far as now, only the fact that she can see the youkais is similar to Natsume. Everything else seems different, like theme, youkai, characters. I wish they could have used better ost, something like Yuki Kujiura style in Kara no Kyoukai.

OP and ED are very weird and not upto my taste. Not feeling much now. I hate it when they bait with ecchi shots, it raises the possibility for bad story and characters.

Man, these are some short skirts. I almost didn't notice, good thing the episode reminded me of it every other scene 👀

Pretty amusing start. A premise like this works a lot better than most attempts at traditional horror. Dig the tone here.

She took those apparitions with more composure than I would have in a similar situation. Though those things had been more terrifying until the anime didn't show them just hinted at their presence. I liked this first episode more than I thought I would including its fan service elements.

Well, a great star for a show I have to say, hope it does not fizzle out like some other series from previous season.

Art is very pretty as are all of the main characters so far, I am especially looking forward to the teased mushroom-harirpin- loli-possibletsundere looking girl.

The introduction of the monsters with those sent images was quite scary and creative way to do it.

I am surprised she was able to keep her cool at first or at least be jumpe-scared... but she seems kinda quiet and has this mysterious aura around her, so we will probably understand more when we get to know her more.

Might be only me but not too crazy about the visuals and how colorful they are with a series like this but other than that, not too shabby of a premiere. Hopefully, it manages to somewhat stay fresh for the few months that it would be airing without getting stale.

Until then, stay away from ghosts or spirits, just pretend you didn't see them...

Sorry but I have to ask to the manga readers, will Miko find a way to get rid of those ghosts, or be at least ligher for her or is it always going to be her trying to not react and suffering everytime she see one? Yeah some caps would be "funny" or entertaining, but I dont personally think I want a whole anime with this as the core.
As far as I see the comedy is going to be more about the interpretation she gives about the situation.

So this show is supposed to be some sort of erotic horror black comedy. A bit slower for my taste and the ecchi part was kind of cringe.

Umm... copy-paste from your other post in the other thread next door much?

Well, the manga did tone down the ecchi later on, but since the track record of the 1st EP already diverged quite much from the source materials, anything can still goes from here. In fact, since they didn't seem to plan to adapt the manga faithfully either, there's a high chance that the ecchi shall stays instead, to attract more audiences.

If we were in her exact position then yes, we will somehow try to get rid of those ghosts with exorcism, prayer breeds, go to shrine or something, etc. But you must already known that peoples who can see "them" is very rare, therefore she will always being disturb by "them".
