| @KhaledH well, if you got to 1000 subscriptions following that method, it seems Youtube is doing pretty well in recommending content for you. But you don't really have to subscribe for that, just giving views and likes is enough for YT to recommend more of the same to you. I'm not sure if you get more diverse recommendations than I do, however. I keep my subscriptions at around 200 and sometimes it just feels like YT keeps hammering me with the same stuff, so I often clear my history to start again. @Kosmonaut it does that? |

| Of course it's ok, since it's your account. You can do what you want with it, and it's not hurting anyone. Still, it's kind of pointless. You can't actually keep up with 1000 channels, and I'm sure you haven't looked at most of those channels for months or even years. I can't imagine being subscribed to even a few hundred channels, let alone almost 1,000. My YouTube account is from 2006, and I'm on there pretty much every day, but I'm subscribed to less than 60 channels, most of which I watch on a very regular basis. I go through my subscriptions and remove inactive channels, or channels I'm not longer interested in, at least every couple of years. |

| No, why would you subscribe to a single channel to start with? Youtubers need to disappear from the face of Earth, and it would be very easy to get rid of this cancer if every one unsubscribed from their channels... Just check once in a while the interesting channels (if any). I never subscribed to any of them, nor plan to do so in the future. |
| I'm at 992 apparently lmaoooo I'm too lazy to sort that out. Thankfully, we have the notification button which I switch on just for the frequently visited channels. I've only been watching what the algorithm feeds me off late |

| That's a lot. I'm subscribed to 122, and your number is not even 10 times bigger than mine, so I won't say that you have too much. But that is still a lot. Probably okay, though, as long as you're only watching the good ones. Actually, the number of subscribed channels doesn't mean anything. You're just pressing a button to subscribe, and if it reaches that number then subscription is obviously not the method you're actually using to organize yourself with the channels that you want to watch. If that number actually represented the number of channels that you're checking everyday for updates, then yes, that would be a problem. |
