The episode had entertainment both on and off the court with the narratives. Interestingly enough, we got some character focus on Tanaka. Highlight of the moment is when Karasuno and the team yelled in excitement at their play. What a team! |

| About that delinquent looking guy. He fell in love w. manager and confessed to her, who rejected him. Returning to the game. Looking like it will be out, but setter guy get it back by going cross the net... Another memory, he felt that the trio are strong even though they don't seem to, which led him to shave his hair. Main guy cheering on delinquent looking guy, who gets afraid, for nice support. He finally passed that center guy from enemy team. What?! The girl who is childhood friend to delinquent looking guy is the one who got "broken-hearted", which is this ep.'s title?? 26:40 next. Wow~ It's "cat" team next!! |

| Tanaka, nice kill!! The animation was back to normal this episode, thank goodness. It was centered on Tanaka and his mental stability, and that even when he feels down he can still see the good in things. Even though I read the manga, it was still hype to see him score the final point in the match. Tanaka was for sure the MVP of that round. Can't wait for next week! edit: also kenma looks way too good in that last frame ๐๐ |

| Wow there were some cool unexpected moments (Kageyama going under the net, Nishinoya receiving right in front of Tanaka, Daichi spiking from the back) Tanaka with blond hair reminds me of Mad Dog lol. I'm living for Bokuto's reactions. Such a dramatic guy. Great emotional episode showcasing Tanaka and his mindset. |

| What a great ep!!! Tanaka doing the super inner cross is insane! Bokuto and Akaashi were really funny. Looks like animation quality is back too. |
| This episode was dope and nice. We get to see Ryu being that kind of guy that does not give up. That ending with Kanoka saying she had her heart broken was sad. Ryu I better hope you hook up with her man. No man is worthy of her but you! It is alright if that does not happen. But still. Anyways looking forward to the next episode. |
| Okay, this was just the medicine we needed after what was easily the worst episode of the franchise last week. I say "worst" but that's still pretty good on a general scale, however. But this episode? Tanaka Genius-senpai takes the spotlight, and boy have they delivered after all that buildup! Starting the episode off with that little segment before the Op was a little strange but I'm glad they picked that up right away. Flashback to Tanaka's first meeting with Kiyoko-san too as fan-service, bloody loved it xD. That's Tanaka-senpai, alright. Animation wasn't top-notch for the entirety of the episode but that final scene of Tanaka breaking apart the shackles was incredible, I must admit. A truly precious and often underappreciated piece in Karasuno's game. Opponent team simply chose the wrong person to pick on, lol. Karasuno sweeps up the lead, thankfully meanwhile. Condolences to Tanaka's osananajimi too. Let's see what's next in store for us... |

| There is a clear animation difference between season 4 and the first 3 seasons, but this episode was easily an improvement from the last. I’m satisfied with the animation here, WAY more fluid. Better character designs too, even though some not detailed, they are not terribly out of proportion which is more than enough. This ep had its fair share of epic moments, but was ultimately Tanaka’s ep. Seems like he’s leaning towards Kiyoko, hm... didn’t expect romance to happen but it’s a part of life so it’s a cool aspect to include in Haikyลซ. Also hair-down Noya! Holy crap Kageyama, that was awesome. Glad to see Daishou and that girl on the sidelines. Saeko’s voice is to die for. Inarizaki looked pretty solid. Suna was the highlight for me. Christ he’s fast. The spiking animations were pretty fluid too. The “Wiping Out” ost from season 2 was used. =D Tanaka’s development was extremely well done. His spike was like Kyotani’s!!! Incredible!!! One complaint I have is when Suna spiked, his and Tanaka’s seiyลซ sounded a little too similar and hard to distinguish at first. Also they reused Atsumu’s serve from a past ep and Suna’s blocking animation =| however, that’s fine because I don’t imagine it would look much different for these players anyways. Overall solid episode, and a step up from the last. Glad to see Suna got the animation he deserved. |

| Clearly the best episode of the fourth season and as well one of the best of the whole show. Tanaka is just so freaking cool. Got even moved to tears at the end of the episode, the only ep to do that with the last episode of the third season. |
| This episode made me ugly cry.. Tanaka's my favorite character in Haikyuu and to see him getting blocked multiple times was so painful. Definitely one of my favorite haikyuu episode!! 5/5 if not more :) EDIT: Looks like Tanaka is trending (worldwide trends) on Twitter with over 28k tweets. YES!!!!! |

| Ah yes, an episode just for my husband how long I have been waiting for this. Also, my favorite scene has been animated with another plus. The animation and art was really good in this episode. Asahi and Nishinoya looked a little weird but other than that it was great. Tanaka is so relatable wtf. He literally reminds me of myself expect that i'm also very self-consious and look back at my boisterousness and think to myself, "why am i so fucked up?? everyone must think i'm so weird," An amazing episode. Best one so far. Progress is really slow rn,I prefer fast paced shows so the fact they show every single point made is a but frustrating to me. edit: ik I should't be saying this as a tanaka stan, but when he was blocked by suna omfg suna looked so hot. |

| What an episode! Tanaka was such a badass in this episode, he's climbing up to reach Bokuto's level. Tanaka's spike before the last point was quite similar to Bokuto's straight shot in the previous season, it definitely has potential! And apparently we're going to see some Nekoma action next week, can't wait to see those either! |

| Tanaka is such a role model! There's nothing wrong with being average; as long as you try hard and stay positive then you can still do amazing things and Tanaka is such a great example of that. He never gives up and he always keeps a optimistic outlook. The animation this ep was a lot better, especially in Tanaka's score scene... that was some noice art |

| I had goosebumps reading the chapters that this episode was based on, but man...Seeing this fully animated, especially Tanaka's spike to end the 1st set, had me tearing up and crying. The animation looked on point this episode too! 5/5 from me |

| Fantastic episode, I was cheering so hard at the end when Tanaka made the winning shot. The amount of raw mental tenacity to keep yourself psyched and keep trying in those high pressure scenarios is just insane, mega props to the man Tanaka for keeping himself going despite getting stopped over and over again. OST was on point, Tanaka's monologues were absolutely and the moment he lands that spike was absolutely beautiful. Stunning delivery and direction for the whole episode. Bokuto living vicariously through Karasuno, hah. He never fails to entertain me. xD |
